Chapter 33 by agenteightysix agenteightysix

Tea time?

Tea time!

You nod your head. "Yes, Master, I can make some tea," you agree before turning to the kitchenette behind you. You step over to it, taking a moment to assess where he said the necessary things are stored.

You first reach down to the cabinet next to the stove as instructed. You bend over slightly, quickly scanning the contents of the cabinet looking for the kettle. You find it exactly where he indicated, on the bottom shelf, with a large box of tea leaves next to it. Bending down further, you grab the kettle's handle in one hand and the box of tea with the other. As you are picking them up, you hear a snicker from behind you and realize your ass is high in the air, giving Master a full view of both of your holes.

You nearly drop the kettle as you shoot straight up in embarrassment. In your hurry, your grip on the kettle slips slightly, forcing you to hurriedly circle your hands underneath it before it tumbles to the floor. You don't dare peek behind you after that humiliating start, instead trying to focus on the task in front of you. You take a deep breath as you set the tea down on the small counter between the stove and the sink, pausing to collect your wits again before returning your attention to the kettle. You open up the top of the kettle as you take the three steps to your right to stand in front of the sink.

As the kettle fills with water, you ponder your current situation. Today has had some crazy ups and downs. You've been put into some truly awful situations that you hope to never repeat again, and you've even traveled to an entirely different plane of reality! You also signed a contract to be of service to this person. He doesn't seem to be too bad so far, though - you could probably have done way worse when it comes to that. He doesn't seem to wish ill of you. Maybe you will like this new life you've signed yourself up to. There's only one way to find out, you suppose, and it's not like you really have a choice.

With the kettle now full, you transfer it back over to the stove, setting it on the burner before realizing you don't actually know how to operate it. It doesn't seem to have any controls on the front, and you don't know if there's any matches to light it.

"Uh, Master, I..." Your voice trails off as you turn to face him, unsure how best to pose the question.

"Yes, Rosa?" he replies. When you have his full attention, a lump catches in your throat. You want to make a good first impression, and asking such a simple question might get you started off on the wrong foot.

What do you ask?
