What do you do?
Target the Cleric
Obviously, get rid of the healer. It would irritate you to no end that even if you whacked one of the adventurers enough, a few divine words and all your work was undone. And worse was they knew this and so would put themselves in danger, taunting you with their ability to recover.
So as the others charged and started trying to overwhelm the Fighter and the Paladin, you circled around, using the crumbling stonework to get behind them, dipping your stick in a torch to light it on fire, before charging forward with a WAAH! (Warcry I) and smashing her on the back of the head.
CRITICAL HIT!
Goblin Runt dealt 8 damage SparkleStar23
(1 bludgeoning + 1 fire, 2x with Warcry I and 2x again with critical hit)
(SP: 1/2)
With a sickening crack, the cleric goes down. Glancing down at the prone form, you see a shiny dagger, YOINK!
Iron Dagger (Adequate) acquired
Attack: Iron Dagger, Adequate (Melee, 1H): 1d3 slashing, 1d4+1 piercing
The wizard pauses in his casting and turns to you, “Shit there’s one back here! It got Star!”
“Then shoot it moron!”
As he started chanting you knew that even one of those fire bolts he was throwing could put you down.

Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
