Tara comes home to find something interesting in her room

Tara’s dad had re-married during Tara’s freshman year of high school. Tara was now finishing her sophomore year of college. She came home for the 4 day weekend, needing to get some money from dear ole dad. But when she walked in her room she saw Katy her stepmom meditating on her bed wearing nothing but an unbuttoned blouse. Katy was completely oblivious to the 19 year old’s presence until finally Tara turned off the message that was playing on the phone. It took Katy a few more minutes to come out of her daze. She bounced up and hugged her stepdaughter, and Tara asked, “could you do something about your dress? And why are you doing this in my room on my bed?”

Katy apologized for the naked hug, and then explained, “your bedroom is in the perfect feng shui alignment for what I was doing right now.” Tara asked, “which was?”

Katy tried to dismiss the question, but Tara wouldn’t drop it. So Katy finally said, “this space with these crystals and candles are to improve my relationship intimacy and bliss with your father.”

“Eww,” the teen relented. Katy just smugly said, “I tried not to talk about it.”

Tara and Katy were in the living room later and Tara asked, “do you really believe all that hoo doo about feng shui, energy, crystals?” Katy laughed, “it’s ancient and effective. Maybe you should open your mind to the ideas of it, and free your energy up. Here I will make you space and pick a message for you to try out.”
