Taming the Hunter

Chapter 54 by foxloversi

Ethan and Rachel were left alone on the plush sofa, the silence between them thick.

"Alright, Ethan," Rachel finally began, her tone sharp as broken glass. "What exactly is your problem? You went out of your way to provoke Maria during the game earlier. What the hell were you trying to achieve?" Her piercing blue eyes stared into his, demanding answers.

Ethan shifted uncomfortably, his jaw clenched as he searched for the right words. "I... I don't know," he admitted, sounding almost like he was apologizing. "It's just... everything’s been so bloody confusing lately."

"In what way?" Rachel pressed, leaning in closer, her white-blonde hair cascading over her shoulders like a silken waterfall.

"Ever since that night," Ethan murmured, swallowing hard, the memories flooding back. "The night when you and Maria, huh, defeated me, fed on me... and then..." His voice trailed off, a mixture of shame and something else—a mysterious, dark desire—flashing in his eyes.

"Go on," Rachel encouraged softly, sensing his vulnerability, but also the storm raging within him.

"Since then, I haven't been the same man, the same hunter I once was," he confessed, his gaze wandering to the flickering candlelight. "I used to be consumed with hatred for vampires, but now... I'm still repulsed by the nature of your existence, yet I find myself drawn to it at the same time. I went through the procedure of cleansing my body and mind last few days, but despite that I’m still weak… I lack the fervour, the drive…" His voice trembled slightly, revealing the depth of his inner turmoil.

Rachel studied him for a moment, sympathy and curiosity mingling in her eyes. "Ethan," she said gently, reaching out to place a comforting hand on his arm. "You're not the first one to be conflicted. But maybe, instead of pushing us away, you can try to understand us... and yourself."

Ethan's gaze met hers again, uncertainty flickering within him like the shadows that played upon the walls. His entire world had been turned upside down, and finding a way to reconcile his past as a vampire hunter with his present connection to Rachel and Maria felt impossible. But as he looked into Rachel's eyes, he knew he couldn't simply walk away from them—not when they'd opened his eyes to the shades of grey that existed within the darkness. Yet, there was something else that seemed like an obstacle too high to ignore.

“So how do you suggest I should understand your carnage in the alley the other night, when you killed the entire drug ring? Was that really necessary?” Ethan brought up.

Rachel leaned in closer, her eyes fixed on Ethan's as she defended their actions. "What about them? Don’t tell you’d side with a drug cartel just because they were human? They would've killed us if we hadn't defended ourselves, you know," she pointed out, her voice soft but insistent.

"Please," Ethan scoffed, rolling his eyes. "I'm not a bloody fool, Rachel. That gang wouldn't have attacked you unprovoked. All that coke you have… I know you didn’t take it from them after you defeated them, because you barely made it back here before the sunrise. So spare me that ‘we were only defending ourselves’ bullshit."

"Well… you’re quite perceptive, gotta give you that," she conceded with a sigh, her gaze evading his. "It’s true, I maybe did make… a minor mistake with them beforehand, which I regret. We all have our regrets, don’t we? As do you, I suppose.”

Her piercing gaze directed back at his eyes as she found a way to shift the topic. “Don’t you ever regret what you've done? All those vampires and their human companions you've killed without a second thought. Some of them might not have been that bad at all…"

As she spoke, Rachel subtly shifted closer to him. He could feel the magnetic pull of her presence growing stronger, and he found it difficult to concentrate on the conversation.

"I don’t know… I wouldn’t say I regret anything… " he mumbled, his mind clouded by the scent that clung to her skin. "I did what I had to do, what… I was required to do. And yes, I realize now that not all vampires are strictly speaking evil, but back then... it was a different time."

Rachel tilted her head, her delicate features bathed in the dim light. "And now? What will you do? Will you continue killing indiscriminately, or will you learn to see the shades of grey in this world?"

Ethan hesitated, struggling to find the right words due to Rachel's closeness. "I... I don't want to be the ruthless bigot I once was," he murmured, his voice barely audible. "But I can't just forget everything I've been taught, everything I've believed in my entire life..."

"Then let us show you a different way," she whispered with a soft voice. "Learn from us, Ethan. Let us help you see the beauty in this dark world."

As Rachel's words danced around him like a seductive melody, Ethan found himself wanting to believe her, but deep within him, the hunter still raged, fighting against the darkness that threatened to consume him and everyone else.

Rachel's eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint as she leaned even closer. "I’ve been wondering, Ethan," she purred, her voice a sultry whisper that sent shivers down his spine. "When we met in the hallway and you invited me on a date, back when I was still human... Was it all just a ruse to get close to Maria, or did you actually feel something for me?"

Ethan hesitated, caught off guard by the intimacy of the question. The scent of her skin, the closeness of her body – it made it difficult to think clearly. "I... I suppose I thought you were cute," he admitted, wavering as he tried to maintain some semblance of composure. "But I wasn't really attracted to you that much back then, honestly. I admit. I sensed that you’ve been in touch with a vampire, so…"

Rachel smiled knowingly, her fingers playing idly along his thigh. "That's alright," she said, her tone light and teasing. "I wouldn't have dated my old self either." Her hand traveled higher, causing Ethan's muscles to tense beneath her touch. "But things have changed since then, haven't they? I'm not the same person I once was... And neither are you."

Ethan swallowed hard, his chest tightening as memories of the fateful night flooded his mind. He could still feel the softness of her body pressed against his, the sensation of her lips and fangs as she fed on him, the way her moans had driven him wild as he fucked her senseless… "Yes, well... That night certainly left… an impression," he muttered, trying to keep his voice steady.

"An impression?" Rachel echoed, her laughter like velvet against his ear. "Is that what you call it when two hot vampiresses tie you down, drink your blood and fuck you until you blackout?" She shifted her weight, pressing herself against him more firmly. "Because I'd say it was a little more than that, wouldn't you?"

Ethan's breath hitched as her hand brushed against his growing arousal. He couldn't deny it – there was something about Rachel that drew him in, like a moth to a flame. But he couldn't forget who she was, what she represented... and the danger that came with succumbing to her seduction.

"Rachel..." he murmured, his voice strained with the effort it took not to pull her closer and lose himself in the darkness that she offered. "We can't... I didn’t go through the cleansing ritual for nothing..."

"Shh," she whispered, her fingers travelling along his jawline. "Don't think about what you can't do, Ethan. Think about what you want."

Rachel, her eyes gleaming with mischief, eased herself onto Ethan's lap, her soft thighs straddling him as she pressed her curvaceous body against his. Ethan couldn't help but feel the throbbing ache of his manhood, growing harder with each teasing touch.

“I know you won't admit it, but I know how much you want me, Ethan,” Rachel purred.

The vampire hunter in Ethan screamed for him to push her off, to drive a stake through her cold, undead heart. But the man in him, the one who had tasted the forbidden fruit of vampiric lust, was far less certain.

“Fine, I won't lie. I am… attracted to you, if that’s what you want to hear," he growled, all too aware that lying would be pointless. "But that doesn't mean I'll succumb to you again. Nothing will happen between us tonight, Rachel, so stop with this game."

Despite his rejection Rachel's smile widened, revealing her sharp, lethal fangs. Her eyes glowed with an unholy hunger as she leaned in, trailing a single fingernail down his chest. "Oh, Ethan... I've never much cared for your 'no's," she purred, and before he could react, she was kissing him.

Her lips were cold, yet her touch sent a thrill of dark desire coursing through his veins. Her wet and unnaturally flexible tongue found his and Ethan found himself kissing her back, his willpower crumbling like an old parchment. His hands, which had been balled in fists at his sides, now gripped her hips, pulling her even closer. He knew this was wrong – that succumbing to her would damn him further, but at that moment, all he could think about was how good it felt to be with her again.

Gasping for air, they finally broke apart. Their chests heaving with shared desire and lust-tainted breaths. "Mmmm… so, is that 'no' still on the table?" Rachel asked with a wicked grin.

Ethan's gaze flicked from her lips to hers eyes, and back down again, his inner conflict written plainly on his face. "Damn you... No. It's not," he growled, his voice thick with lust and self-loathing.

Rachel cackled, her laughter tinged with the joy of a predator who'd just caught their prey. "Finally, we're getting somewhere."

She pressed her crotch down harder against his hardon and held his face in her hands, her long nails teasingly scratching his stubble. It was evident he was waiting for her lips again, yearning to merge with her delicious tongue. But Rachel knew it was the perfect moment to get some answers from him.

She pulled away from him slightly, avoiding his lips, and asked, “Tell me, now that we're being honest with each other, why exactly are you still here?”

“It's because of you… I want to help you and to be by your side…” Ethan said unconvincingly after some thought.

Rachel laughed again at the worst attempt at lying she heard in a long time. “Come on, Ethan, don’t insult me with such pathetic lies. I know that you’re attracted to me, dummy, but that’s not the real reason you stayed with us. No, I’d say it has to do something with Maria… or perhaps Nikolai, right?”

Ethan just pursed his lips in response when she mentioned Nikolai's name and Rachel knew right then she had hit the nerve.

“It's okay, I know you can't betray your precious clan or whatever, but you don't have to lie to me either.” She placed her index finger on her lips and winked. “Our little secret, k?”

Ethan hesitated, the struggle between his duty as a vampire hunter and his lust for the undead beauty clearly written on his face. His breathing was ragged, and as Rachel gently ground her crotch against his arousal, he let out a strangled moan. “Fine. It has nothing to do with Sanguis Sanctus though. It’s rather… personal.”

“Oh…” Rachel purred, feigning interest “Personal, eh? Do tell me more.”

“It's… about Nikolai… as you already guessed.” Ethan finally said hesitantly, already regretting he was about to share his potential weakness. “He… he killed someone… important to me.”

Rachel's smile disappeared, replaced by a cold, unreadable mask. “And you want revenge?”

Ethan nodded. “I've been after him for years,” he gritted out, his body shaking with repressed fury and lust at the same time.

“I see. And with Maria also looking to settle things with him after how he manipulated her, you found a natural ally in us two. Clever, but quite a risky game you’re playing, my sweet hunter,” Rachel said, her voice oozing with barely-concealed menace.

Ethan swallowed, but to his credit, he didn't flinch. “I know, but it’s an opportunity I can’t miss with you two being in contact with him.”

Rachel bit her lower lip in contemplation. She knew Ethan was unpredictable and a potential threat, but she also knew that he could prove to be a valuable asset against Nikolai. After all, he was an experienced fighter. He also survived their… playfulness and still had some sanity left. “How do we know you won’t just turn on us the moment we let our guard down?”

Ethan closed his eyes, as if gathering strength. “What would I achieve by betraying you? No offence, but you’re just two young, insignificant vampires in the great scheme of things. Besides, I’ve grown… accustomed to your company…”

Hearing his choice of words, Rachel let out a laugh, “You’ve certainly grown, I agree with that part, ha ha…” She drove her point home by sliding her crotch against his still hard cock.

Ethan blushed and continued awkwardly, “I’m… serious, Rachel. I can be of use to you two. I know how to fight vampires better than anyone else alive… or undead.”

Rachel weighed the options in her mind. On one hand, Ethan was right. He was a crucial ally against Nikolai, if the conflict between him and Maria escalated. On the other hand, betrayal lurked in every corner of this dark world they entered. After all, look at what Maria's own maker did to her. But her instincts told her that Ethan was telling the truth… for now at least.

“Very well, Ethan. We’ll work together then. But I don’t want to hear no more nagging or moralizing shit coming out of your mouth in the meantime, alright?”

Ethan sighed and hesitantly nodded, “Agreed… as long as you promise not to go on another bloody rampage…”

“Deal. Now, where were we…” She purred, running her nails down his chest. “I believe we were in the middle of something more… pleasurable?”

Ethan growled low in frustration but didn't resist as Rachel leaned in for another deep, hungry kiss.

“You know,” Rachel murmured between the kisses, “for a cold-blooded vampire hunter… you sure are hot-blooded when dealing with ladies…”

Ethan couldn't help but grin in response, “Well, my fair lady, you sure know how to bring out the beast in me…”

“I do?”

"You’ve been teasing me all night, so now you’ll have it my way!" Ethan snarled, fire igniting in his veins. With a swift, fluid motion, he grasped her by the waist, tossing her down onto the plush couch. She landed with a breathy laugh, her legs spread wide as she looked up at him with an expression of wicked delight.

"There's that dominant side I've missed," she chuckled, eyes twinkling with dark amusement. "Show me more, hunter. Show me what you really want!"

Gripping her jaw firmly, Ethan lowered himself onto her, their lips crashing together in a passionate, voracious kiss. Their tongues tangled and danced, exploring the depths of one another's mouths with an intensity that bordered on desperation. He could feel her sharp fangs grazing his lips and tongue, each graze sending an electrifying jolt coursing through him.

"Perhaps I should remind you," Ethan growled between fevered kisses, "of what I admitted during our little game. You seem eager to experience it firsthand."

A wicked grin spread across Rachel's face as she began to unbutton his shirt, her nimble fingers deftly working through the fabric. "Yes… I do recall a certain hunter confessing to some rather... kinky proclivities," she teased, her own clothes quickly joining his on the floor. "I must admit, it piqued my curiosity."

As they tossed off their clothes, a raw hunger surged between them, wild and impossible to satisfy. Rachel thoroughly enjoyed the assertive way Ethan handled her, each firm touch sparking waves of delight that rippled through her.

"Go on then," she breathed, her voice heavy with lust. "Show me just how dark your desires can be."

Ethan's restraint shattered in an instant, replaced by an all-consuming lust frenzy as he thrust into her core in one fluid motion.

A growl of affirmation tore from Rachel's throat, "YES... God damn, your cock feels good… I forgot what an impressive meatstick you have," she gasped out. Her head was tossed back in a surrendering arc, her body writhing beneath Ethan's relentless assault.

"Fuck...Ethan... gimme more of your cock… more," she pleaded between ragged breaths.

With a growl of his own, he complied. His hips moved with brutal efficiency against hers, his muscular thighs flexing with each movement.

"You like it rough, huh?" he grunted out, his voice hoarse with exertion.

"Yes," she moaned in response, "I want... I need... every... inch... of it."

The wild rhythm echoed through her flesh, vibrating along her nerves and pooling heat in her core. Rachel reveled in the feel of him dominating her. She knew - they both did - that she was letting him overpower her, but it didn’t diminish the sensation. His fingers dug into the soft flesh of her thighs and would’ve left behind red marks if she were still human. He pushed her knees wide apart and leaned down to her, her wide open and fanged mouth urging him closer. Their tongues met again in a dance, entwined like serpents. The presence of her fangs only seemed to incite him further. He held her gaze, and she could feel the hunger for her and her body – a hunger that mirrored her own.

"You’re mine now… my own vampire slut," he growled into her ear before biting down on the lobe causing her to whimper out in pleasure-pain.

"Oh God... yes... Ethan... I’m all yours... and you are mine…" Rachel whimpered, her nails leaving red lines across his back as she clung to him for dear life.

His cock swelled even more inside her, stretching her core further – and she loved every delicious inch of it.

The room was filled with the sounds of their breathing, her moans mingling with Ethan's rapid grunts as he continued to pound away at her. He straightened up again, grabbed her thighs and pushed her knees all the way up to her face while slamming his cock in her with all his might. It was wild, beastly to its core and most normal - human - women would find it more or less painful. But Rachel and Ethan were both digging every freaking moment of it.

The sensation of him filling and stretching her so brutally was thrilling and thanks to her enhanced senses, she could feel every inch of him as he plunged deeper and deeper within her pussy.

"Fuck me with that cock… I fucking love how good it feels in me… so hard and warm and full of life…" she panted out deliriously as she responded to him by wrapping her legs around his waist, instinctively pulling him even deeper and demanding more. Each forceful thrust drove Rachel further into an abyss of pleasure so deep, that the desire for him ignited all her vampiric darkness, including hunger. She wanted all of him, all at once, to feel him everywhere within her.

"Admit it," she taunted, meeting his every thrust. "You love… fucking me… don't you? You love it… that I'm a vampire…"

Ethan's grip on her thighs tightened, his knuckles whitening as he held her down with a near-feral intensity. "Yes," he snarled, the word torn from him like a ragged confession. “I love fucking you, you little vampire bitch… Your cold flesh, your thirsty cunt milking my cock… You make me want to fuck you straight down to hell."

His hand slid from her leg, making its way up to cup her breast, giving it a firm squeeze. Then his fingers found their way to her throat, wrapping around it. Rachel shot him a look, a wicked grin playing on her lips as Ethan tightened his grip. They both understood he could apply all the pressure he wanted without causing any real harm. Yet it was this act of dominance that stirred something wild within Rachel, sending her excitement levels soaring even higher.

He growled, his hips slamming into hers with a vengeance. "Fuck, I love the way your undead cunt grips me… it's addictive… unholy... perfect…"

Rachel cried out, her nails digging into his shoulders and hips as she felt her own orgasm building up within her. She could no longer separate the pain from the pleasure; they were one and the same now.

"Oh my God… this is sooo good…" she gasped, her eyes locked onto his fierce gaze. "I want you… ahhh… to fuck me like this… every fucking night! AHHH!!" Her fangs glinted in the dim light with her mouth wide open, moaning and wailing as climax rocked through her entire body - starting from her dark core outward, like a wave of ecstasy crashing into every fiber of her undead being.

He kept thrusting into her even as her climax started to ebb away. She saw his eyes, not on hers, but fixated on her mouth - particularly, her sharp fangs. With the intoxicating scent of his blood wafting from the scratches she'd left, her thirst surged uncontrollably.

In one swift move, she sat up and straddled his hips, her legs on either side of him, showing who was truly in control all this time. Like a predator stalking its prey, she lowered her head to his neck, her fangs extended, ready to feast. “You fucked me real good, hunter… but I want more from you…”

Ethan, still confused a bit at how the situation had turned, anxiously shook his head, his eyed drifting between her icy blue orbs and her fangs.

“N-no… get off…I… don’t…” he stammered as he pulled away, but his twitching cock in her pussy was sending an entirely different message - he was about to cum just by being so close to her bite.

Rachel's laughter was a playful melody, "Don't deny it, Ethan... you can't pretend you don't crave this..." Her fingers traced a tantalizing path along the contour of his jaw while she rhythmically moved atop him - her pace calculated, slow enough to keep him from reaching the pinnacle of pleasure yet maintaining him on the brink of ecstasy.

Ethan found himself unable to look away; her angelic face, offset by piercing eyes and long, sharp fangs, was too captivating to dismiss at such close range. He could feel himself dissolving internally.

"Aw, come on, sugar..." Rachel's voice was a sultry purr, her words dripping with promise and temptation. "You know what I need... and trust me, I'll make it worth your while." Her tongue traced a slow, teasing path across his lips.

She could practically taste his anticipation, the sweet tang of desire mixed with just a hint of fear. It was intoxicating. She savored the taste, letting it linger on her tongue before she continued her sensual assault.

"Remember how good it feels?" she murmured against his skin. Her words were barely more than a whisper but they carried an undeniable weight. They were an invitation... a challenge... and he was already teetering on the edge.

Her tongue slid from his mouth to trace the curve of his jawline before moving up to nibble at his earlobe. She took her time, savoring each little gasp and shudder that escaped him as she teased him mercilessly.

"Rachel... God... I... can't... Stop…" Ethan moaned, his hands gripping her hips, trying in vain to make her move faster as she continued to ride him - each movement a slow, sensual torture that kept him at the edge - so close, yet still so far away.

“Say it... tell me you want my dark kiss," she breathed into his ear, her voice low and husky. "Mmm, your delicious blood is calling for me... and you want to give it to me… freely… " There was no mistaking the command in her voice now. It was raw and primal; a call to surrender to the darkness besieging him.

His resolve crumbled under her relentless onslaught and she could feel him giving in to her seduction. A triumphant smile curled around her lips as she murmured softly against his earlobe.

"That's my boy... give in."

With a guttural roar, Ethan grabbed her by the back of her neck and slammed her mouth onto his neck. She let out a moan of delight as she sank her fangs into the pulsing vein at the base of his neck. His cock twitched inside her as she drank from him greedily, sucking the hot crimson liquid like it were ambrosia itself – coppery and sweet – as his hands tangled in her hair, holding her closer.

“Oh fuck… oh god… I can’t believe… I’m allowing you… this… yes… drink from me…” Ethan groaned incoherently, his hips bucking up in need, the release he was so desperate for finally within reach. He was drowning in the pleasure he so desperately tried to deny himself – the ecstasy he had felt before when they first fed on him was back, tenfolds more intense – and he gave in to it fully.

Rachel sensed his body reaching the edge and she rocked her hips against his hard, but in a sensual rhythm, accelerating his climax.

His orgasm was monstrous; it hit him like a freight train, surging through every fiber of his being as he pumped his seed deep inside her in countless bursts. Rachel moaned louder as she felt his cum filling her and every drop of his blood and cum alike brought her closer to another orgasm. In that moment, both of them joined in an unholy, twisted state of pure bliss, where nothing else mattered but the intense pleasure coursing through their veins.

Rachel was completely taken over by the dark euphoria - the taste of Ethan’s blood, so rich and pure, was far more satisfying than Jacob’s. But what got her really riled up was his surrender to her, despite all of his hesitation he was now cumming inside her and offering her his neck for her to feast upon. What a spectacular capitulation of a man who was supposed to be one of the greatest vampire hunters in the world. She found herself tempted to drain him completely, craving for that ultimate bliss of taking life. But suddenly, in the back of her mind, a voice warned her that it was not worth it. She wanted to ignore it, but somehow couldn’t. As much as she wanted his life, she knew it would complicate stuff dramatically. And on top of that, she had a desire to… experience all of this again. And again.

Gathering all her willpower, she pulled away from his neck with an irritated groan, denying herself the ultimate indulgence.

“Dear god…” Ethan panted, his body trembling from the aftermath of his orgasm. He couldn't believe what just happened or how good it felt – all his apprehensions and reservations had momentarily vanished amidst such decadent delight. It seemed even more intense than the first time - perhaps because this time he desired this, deep down.

Rachel, on the other hand, was still riding high from both orgasms and Ethan's delicious blood. She couldn't get enough of him. She leaned in and gave him a deep kiss on the lips. “Oh, Ethan…” she purred, running her nails down his chest. “I knew you had it in you.” She winked at him cheekily before getting off him and sat down beside him. “That... was...” she struggled to find the right words. “Amazing.”

Ethan’s conscience and guilt crept their way into his mind as the bliss receded and the depth of his betrayal surfaced. He was supposed to be a vampire hunter, but here he was, being taken and used by one of them – twice now! And to make things worse, this time he wasn’t coerced or tied down. Not even properly seduced, to be honest - he knew exactly what her intentions were from the start, yet he failed to resist her. But despite all this… It felt so damn good, better than anything he had ever experienced before. No mission could justify this kind of pleasure. “What...what have I done? How could I have let this happen?” he asked in a shaky voice.

Rachel smirked. “That, my dear Ethan, was you giving in to your desires.” She propped herself up on her elbow and looked into his eyes. “All that pent-up lust, the guilt you've been carrying around since you woke up days ago, it all came spilling out tonight. Literally.” She cackled as she traced a finger along his jawline and continued with a more sultry voice. “I saw it in your eyes – all this time you've wanted this... to let go. To embrace this ecstasy that no mortal woman could offer you.”

Ethan closed his eyes, struggling with the weight of her words. She was right – he had wanted this... craved for this release from the very moment he laid his eyes on her perfected vampiric body and her heavenly face, together with that demonic twist of her fangs... No, his mind was wandering again! He was a hunter, damn it! His entire life had been built around eradicating monsters like her. How could he just throw it all away for a few sinful moments? “This isn’t right… I should’ve resisted these desires, but instead I-”

“Instead you overcame your pitiful notions of virtue and did what you truly desired.” Rachel interjected, her voice like honey laced with venom. “You can deny it all you want, Ethan, but deep down, you know that you're as drawn to the darkness as much as you are repulsed by it. The sensations we can experience together...” She leaned in closer, her breath tickling his ear as she continued. “You can’t have it all if you play safe. And who says you can’t still be a hunter if you have vampire friends and allies?”

Ethan opened his eyes, meeting hers. The truth in her words stung him to the core, but it also opened his eyes to a whole new world of possibilities. He knew she was right – he was indeed drawn to this life, to these women and the absolute power they wielded over their prey. It terrified him, but at the same time, it excited him more than he cared to admit.

"Ethan," Rachel sensed the shift in his mind and continued with a firm but understanding voice. "I know it's hard to accept that your worldview has been turned upside down, but you must understand that life isn't as black and white as you thought. Look at Nikolai and Maria - they're on different sides of the same coin. Even you learned that treating each and every vampire in the same manner is stupid, so stop treating your precious hunting club and its rules like some sacred list of commandments, cause in the end they’re just a bunch of rules. And all rules have exceptions, do they not?”

Ethan remained silent, his jaw clenched in frustration as he processed her words. He hated to admit it, but she was right. His entire worldview had been shattered after that fateful night with Maria and Rachel. He had witnessed firsthand that not all vampires were mindless, bloodthirsty monsters hell-bent on destroying humanity. Not when one of them showed him a level of passion and pleasure he never thought possible. And even now, he was still here, sitting in a vampire’s mansion, having a heart-to-heart with a vampire.

"Fine," he begrudgingly admitted at last. "You're right... I just... I need time to process this."

Rachel's face broke out into a rare, genuine smile. “I didn't expect any less from you, Ethan,” she purred, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “I know you won’t forget this night. Sooner or later, you’ll want more. And when you do, you know where to find me.” With that, she stood up, picked up her clothes, and sauntered out of the room, her hips swaying enticingly with every step she took, leaving Ethan alone with his thoughts.

“He’s mine now…” she murmured to herself, a devious smirk playing on her lips as she left the room, “he just doesn’t know it yet.”
