Taming Attempt

Aki's sense of danger increased as she was thrown, rolling a couple of feet before slamming into a tree. She was immediately winded, seeing double and trying to gather her breath.

Kūki's valiant fighting attempts ended up sending him crashing through several trees himself. And when he tried getting back up, he immediately collapsed.

Aki's mismatched eyes locked onto the target and she huffed enough to push herself upright into a sitting position.
