Talk to Henri

{If Talked to Henri = 1}

You approach Prince Henri. He is an outstanding man with some guards around him all the time. He looks down on everybody, even the king himself. He won't een look at you as you approach him, instead only looks at his half empty wine cup.

Lily: Prince Henri, it is an honour to meet you!

Henri: Yes, I know, and what is your name {if Elegance = 0},naked {endif}{if Pregnancy = 100},pregnant {endif}peasant?

Lily: Oh, well... My name is Lady Lily.

Henri: And why do you bother me?

Lily: I was wondering if we could talk, to get to know each other a bit better...

Henri: Do I look like somebody who wants to know somebody like you?

Lily: You can never know until you try!

Henri: I will tell you what girl. I have no need for you... I have no need for anybody in fact... I have no equals in this realm, not even the king... He might outrank me for the moment, but this will not always be the case. Do me a favour and move along before I have you dragged away.

Lily: That was not quite nice of you, you know...

Henri: Should I be nice? What would be the point of the useless formalities?

Lily: They build character you know... Shows how you handle your subjects and allies.

Henri: Allies? I have no need for allies. I shall rule over all the peoples of this nation soon enough. All I need for that is a base of loyalists who are ready to obey all my commands.

Lily: Are you planning a civil war as they say?

Henri: Maybe, maybe not, that is hardly your concern if I am not mistaken.

Lily: That would be, if I were to choose your side in case of a war.

Henri: And what would I gain from your support? You would help me empty my pockets faster by spending it on pointless luxuries like other women?

Lily: I know a few of the nobles here and the king does not know me yet... I could be a spy for you if you need one.

Now he looks at you.

Henri: A spy huh...? Why would you do such a thing for me girl? You want gold or something?

Lily: Should it come to war, I wish to be on the winning side, that is all.

Henri: That could be guaranteed, if you are on my side. But I do not just accept anybody to be my follower. First, prove your loyalty and determination.

Lily: I am at your service, Prince Henri.

Henri: Follow me to my chamber. I will decide if you were worth the time I spent talking to you...

You appear at his door again... Your ass still hurts if you just think about what happened the last time you entered his chamber... But you need his protection in case he really intends to start a war. So you decide to knock on the door. One of his man opens it and Henri orders you inside.

Henri: You came again. I am pleased.

Lily: You asked me to come, so I did.

Henri: And you did it well! I have something different in mind for you today... But it will require you to be bound naked again, so get yourself prepared.

Lily (thinking): Damn, if he beats my ass the same way again I won't be able to sit for days...! Should I go along with this...?
