Chapter 4
by GenericEditor168
Where in this piratanical mess is Ikxachozk, though?
Taking over a gambling den
The sign out the front said "The Golden Dice", or rather it had before Ikxachozk had thrown a pirate through it. Inside, though, the dice were far from golden - mostly crudely carved wood or bone, and often bloodstained from where one of the patrons had gone down on top of them.
Ikxachozk was starting to play the Haven's games of politics and region control, and this newly established, NPC-ruled gaming house would be his first piece.
Most of the would-be gamblers were cowering in corners. A few had decided to fight the lizard that had interrupted their games - most of them were on the floor, **** or dead. Three were still standing, wielding a mix of knives, gaff hooks and boarding axes.
"Well, lizard, what are you going to do about us?" One of them called out. Ikxachozk grinned, and responded in a tongue not meant for mortal ears. The pirates collapsed, bleeding from their ears, noses, and eyes, and the rest of the patrons fell silent and shook from the side effects of the curse.
Ikxachozk walked past the terrified pirates, up the stairs, and to a heavy door, the door into the captain's room, and the boss fight needed to take over "The Golden Dice".
He drew a deep breath, steeling himself, and then kicked down the door...
Who is the Captain he will have to fight?
