Taking contracts!

"Alright, Akeno, get to the magic seal, and align Issei's crest with it," Rias told Akeno, who nodded, and stepped onto a circle on the floor, and started an incantation.

"...my crest?" Issei asked Rias curiously.

"It's basically proof that you belong to my household. And the seal is the foundation of any and all magic we wish to perform... well, except for my Sex Genie powers," she added. She then gave Issei a sultry smirk. "Perhaps you would like to put a mark on me so we're even? Perhaps a mark right over my pussy?"

Issei flushed, unable to help but picture that. That was definitely appealing. "...we'll shelve that for now, partly so I can figure out a mark for that," he replied as Rias took his palm and brought his crest out.

"Fair enough," she grinned. "And this particular mark lets you draw power from the seal to use for clients." He nodded as Akeno announced the seal was ready now. "Alright, Issei stand in the center of the circle..."

Issei obliged and noticed he felt incredible amounts of power flowing through him while in the circle. "So, what's this all for at the moment?" Issei questioned.

"Simple!" Rias nodded. "This is to let clients summon you! You're moving on to taking contracts!"

"Oh, I see!" Issei grinned. "So, when I get there, I draw up the pact, grant their wish, and recieve payment, right?"

"You got it!" Rias clapped. "Get ready, and see you later!"

"You guys too!" Issei nodded as the seal glowed, and he was enveloped in arcane light. Then... the light faded and Issei was still there, trying to look cool and stated, "So, you're the one who called? Well go ahead and state your des... ires?" he trailed off, opening his eyes and seeing he was still in the Occult Research Club.

"...oh my," Akeno chuckled sheepishly, and Rias face palmed, Kiba looked confused, and Koneko stared flatly.

"...okay, what gives?" Issei demanded.

"Looks like you didn't have enough power to make the jump," Rias sighed. "That hasn't happened with my Peerage yet..."

"Weakling," Koneko snorted.

"I thought the seal provided the power?" Issei slumped.

"It helps, yes, but you also need a set amount of personal power," Kiba explained. "At least we know where the client is, so you can go by bike, should only take twenty minutes."

"What kind of Devil goes to a client on a bike!?" Issei protested.

"Well, unless you have a better idea, you better get going!" Rias sighed. "Devils shouldn't keep their clients waiting!"
