Take the upper passage

The upward tunnel seems slightly wider and dryer, but the air does carry a slight hint of sulfur and smoke. After creeping along for what feels like half an hour, the passage suddenly opens out into a vaulted cavern, long, crystal stalactites hanging from the ceiling, some lying in shattered pieces upon the floor. The faint light glitters and sparkles, refracted by the crystals to dazzling effect.

Looking about you in awe, you move deeper into the cavern. It's the most beautiful place you've ever seen. Then your hoof kicks something that jingles as it bounces across the stone floor. Bending down, you pick up a large, gold coin. Not far away, you see another. You start to pick it up as well, but freeze as you finally see the massive pile of treasure at the back of the cavern--gold and jewels, silver and pearls--all heaped beneath a sleeping black dragon.
