Take the offer

"Deal." Ethan reaches across the desk, offering his hand.

Sam takes his hand and Ethan notes it's quite... dainty.

Releasing the shake, Sam returns her attention to her computer. "But if you don't find it by end of day tomorrow, deals off." She looks towards a window and the dark clouds in the sky, contemplating them. "Don't go rummaging tonight.

"Right." Ethan nods, accepting the challenge and the side quest.

"Which means don't show up again begging for work or money."

"Uh... Right..."

Sam doesn't respond right away, just clacking away at her keyboard. "Is there anything else?" She asks, not looking up.

"N-No?"

"Then please close the door on your way out. See you tomorrow." She glances up. "Hopefully."

Snorting, Ethan shows himself out, and tomorrow hopes to show her up.
