Take the left path

You arrive close to an orc camp, a bunch of crude tents, bonfires, and the laughter of drunken orcs. They’re clearly celebrating a recent victory, their guards distracted by barrels of ale and plates of roasted boar meat. The scent of smoke and sweat fills the air, and the occasional clash of weapons suggests a few orcs are still lively enough to test their strength and fight.

You crouch in the shadows, thinking about your options. The camp is disorganized, and the orcs are off guard, this might be your best chance to sneak in and gather information, supplies, or useful items. You could move quickly, using the chaos to your advantage, but the risk of being spotted is high.

Alternatively, you could take the time to prepare a spell of invisibility, masking your presence entirely and pass without being noticed. However, the ritual would require to study some pages of your spellbook, during which patrolling orcs might catch you.

The reward would be greater safety, but the delay could cost you the element of surprise or being watched by the patrols.
