Take some time to prepare.

After court, you manage to flag down Sir Garret, your Marshal before he manages to leave, "Sir Garret, May we talk for a moment?"

Sir Garret nods, "Of course, Your Majesty. What is it you need?"

You think for a moment, "Perhaps we should organize a few extra guards to defend the Royal Entourage when we travel for Luxem. As Count Erwyn said, we don't know what we're getting into."

"Well, we can certainly do that. All I need to know is when you wish to leave, so that I can make the proper preparations."

"I'll be leaving in a few days. Will that be enough time?"

Sir Garret nods, "That's plenty of time. Is there anything else?"

You shrug, "No, i believe that will be everything." Sir Garret bows and leaves.

Before you leave the Court Room, your eyes spot a trio of ladies talking by the door. They're chatting and giggling among themselves and occasionally one of them takes a quick peek at you. You don't recognize two of them, but the third is Lady Victoria, Count Erwyn's second daughter. She is about your age with curly brown hair and you note a rather low-cut dress that shows off her fairly large breasts. The other two ladies are likely daughters of unlanded nobles who hold little influence. The one, a shorter girl with dark hair and a rather plain dress for court that isn't nearly as low-cut as Lady Victoria's and the other woman has straight, brown hair and while her dress is low-cut. Her 'assets' don't look nearly as impressive standing next to Lady Victoria.

You figure you could strike up a conversation with them, at least and walk up to them, "Good afternoon, Lady Victoria, ladies. Did you enjoy court today?"

"To be honest, I found it rather boring, Your Majesty." The short, dark haired woman responds.

Lady Victoria steps up, "Your Majesty, I don't believe you have met my friends. This is Lady Nera, Her father is Lord Marcus Foaly from Faldera." She puts her hand on the shoulder of the the brown haired girl, Lady Nera. "This is Miss Ellan." she puts her other hand on the dark haired girl. "She's...um...A friend."

You ponder for a moment what she means by 'friend', but don't comment on it, "Well, I certainly enjoyed myself. Especially now that I got the opportunity to speak to three beautiful ladies."

Lady Nera and Miss Ellan giggle a little and Lady Victoria grins at you, "Your Majesty, I do believe you're flirting with us. I don't think my father would approve."

You notice that both Lady Nera and Victoria are subtly vying for your attention. Lady Victoria has leaned forward a little, giving you a better view down her dress while Lady Nera has wrapped her arms around herself and is using them to press her breasts up a little bit to make them look larger. Ellan is about the only one not participating in the quiet competition. You shrug, "I don't think Count Erwyn would mind. Being in the King's favor can offer many boons and advantages."

"That's true, but my father has always been a traditionalist. He believes that you shouldn't engage in such activities unless you plan on marriage."

"And what do you believe?"

She thinks a moment before answering, "I think such idle flirtation is quite enjoyable, Your Majesty."

You grin, "Good, then there isn't a problem."

You consider whether you want to go farther with any of these ladies. You could attempt to seduce one of them, or continue about your day.
