Take Mazl's advice

Several days later, you meet up with Josh at his offices with both Molly and an attorney you hired on to take a look at the contract. Just to make sure everything is on the up and up.

"Hey Jack. Good to see you again. You as well, Molly. And who's this? Josh asks.

"Hey Josh, thanks for taking the time to meet with us. This is just the attorney I hired to make sure everything is on the up and up. You own a huge company so probably had your contract looked at by your legal team, so it's only fair for me to do the same." You say.

"Actually, there was no need for it. Here's the contract, it's pretty straight forward, only a couple pages anyone could understand. You'll grant us the rights to record and distribute Molly's music worldwide. We're only asking to take a 30 percent cut. We also handle booking of all your live shows, and that's included. The rest goes to you."

You hand the contract over to your attorney who begins looking it over. "While I'm here, I was wondering if you were looking to hire someone in Cybersecurity." You say as you slide your resume over to Josh. "A quick synopsis is my Master's and my accreditation, and of course the many years of experience."

"Tired of working for the man? Finally want to make some real money?" Josh asks.

"Well, let me level with you. I was let go from my agency because I pissed off AWIO." You reply.

"Well, I do a ton of business with the Government. As impressive as your credentials are, I just can't hire you as much as I want to help you out. In fact, we will also not be proceeding with Molly's contract. So, Mr. Attorney, don't spend more of your client's money." Josh says.

"Damn. Now you see why, don't you, Molly. You regret marrying me now?" You say in response.

"Nope, bzzt! But Mr. Meyer, you should really come to our home and meet zomeone. You'll understand why he told Emily to get out of the house when you talk to her. Can you do that before passing your judgement? And bring Maya."
