Syd decided to capture them

Capturing the four intruders proved to be even easier than Syd had anticipated, the militia guy was easily lured to a concealed trap hole filled with Syd's special aphrodisiac (no homo), and the other three got easily overpowered by his minions who rushed them from all sides. Now Syd had to figure out what he was actually going to do with them just keeping them around would only be a problem down the line but just letting them go didn't feel right either...

In the end, Syd figured out he would imprison them for two days before letting them go. However, since this was meant to be imprisonment and all, he figured that he would also need to make their stay appropriately uncomfortable but all he could come up at the end was to have his minions restrain them and fondle them all over.

With the intruders taken care of, Syd returned to his daily routine however his mind would constantly drift back to the prisoners, unable to fully focus on his meditation he decided to check on them and perhaps interrogate one of them while he was at it, perhaps then he would be able to focus. Happy with his decision he polymorphed into a human and made his way to the impromptu cages, where he got greeted by a surprising sight, the plant monsters responsible for "torturing" this lot had all raised in levels by a considerable amount, curious about the reason he started investigating, what he uncovered, was that whenever a monster would lead a human to climax their XP would rise as if they fought and defeated them this did not appear to be the case when monsters were monsters were leading each other beyond the edge, the other important realization he made was that he had no actual grasp of the language of this world the only reason he was able to understand their conversations so far was that the ability of [God's Eye] was conveying to him their surface thoughts. This was not acceptable to him, if he ever wanted to be anything more than a simple monster in the eyes of the world he had to eventually learn the language.

Armed with this new knowledge Syd decided to make his Minions work overtime in "Torturing" the prisoners he was going to take full advantage of the XP these guys could provide to power up the monsters under him, however since the intensity of this new schedule could potentially have a lasting effect on these four he decided to check on them every 4 hours or so (altering his appearance to reflect theirs) offering them what treatment he could and feeding them a variety of recovery potions while also trying to strike some semblance of conversation to both relieve them of their stress and get some grasp of the language.

Before long the two days were over. While he was tempted to keep his four prisoners contained longer he remained true to his initial decision, he put them all to sleep and had his minions take them to the entrance of the dungeon but not before placing a mark of submission to each of them as a future precaution.
