Sybelle Glover

You enter the outer walls of Deepwood Motte, slipping through with the peasants and workers. Inside the walls, the keep stood on a tall hill, in the distance can still see the banner of House Glover flying proudly.

Inside, the people carried on with their lives, however you were able to note that the soldiers and guards around you were dressed in either the colours of House Glover or of Stannis Baratheon’s flaming heart stag. The sound of hammering and sawing echoed everywhere; looking around it looked as though a battle had occurred recently.

You continue to walk towards the keep, up the hill. As you walk toward the doors of the keep you are stopped by a guard “Oi you, stat’ your business.” He was dressed in Glover colours.

“I wish to speak to your lord.” You state.

“Lord Glover ain’t ‘ere at the moment.” The guard says “Neither any other lords or King Stannis, only Lady Glover ‘is wife.”

“Then let me speak to her, it’s important, I have something which could help the North.” You reply. “My name is Dewey.”

The guard looks at you puzzled before coming to a realisation “ ‘ang on, you the bloke who beat the Mountain.” The guard said almost shocked “you won that big prize for that tourn’y down south.”

“Yes, I am.” You are surprised that word of your ‘victory’ had reached that far and so quickly but are happy it’s helped you. “I’m gonna use it to help.”

“Seven hells, alright then.” The guard replied “I’ll take you right away.”

You nod at the guard and he escorts you into the keep and before a small hall with a medium sized stone chair on a small elevated platform and beside it, a woman sitting on a small wooden stool as she listened to peasant’s concerns.

You wait for Lady Glover to finish her discussion before you then walk up to the platform.
