Sword (And dagger) it is then !

You explained to the Legends, Dolgomi and your party your idea that you could use your sword as well as a dagger from time to time, to surprise your opponents and be quite a bit more unpredictable with your moves, so that you can improve your own survivability by doing so as well as being more helpful to others, since you knew you were far too weak for now. After listening to you, Rei even acknoledged that you were a bit weaker than her for the moment, since your body, even being strong and handling well weapons, still has a huge lack of stamina, that you still needed to train.

But afterward, Dolgomi said :

"Okay, mate, so ya need sword and dagger, I'd work on that right after y'all leave my shop, but for now, why don't ya take a look at my things ? Might be something interesting for ya, and I saw your two friends already made their choice of equipment earlier."

After sating that, and without waiting for any answer, the dwarf turned around and walked back to his shop, not even waiting for you in the slightest. Both Lady Kogai and Lady Melda followed him quickly, but you and your party took a bit more time to follow him, as the Legends reacted very quickly, a result of their experience, you assumed.

As you got back to the shop, Rei and Douma both got a different staff, the one Rei has got seemed to be made out of a glass-like material, with a saphire mounted on one of its end.

"I stumbled upon this one with Douma." She says to you as she showed you the staff in question. "It was made to cast far more powerful illusions, perfect for me !"

You nodded in response, as you gave the staff a closer look. It seemed to be very solid, and you saw very small and intricate patterns all over the glass-like part of the staff. There was no doubts that the staff was very well made, even for the eyes of an ignorant like you, and seeing that comforted you a lot in trusting Dolgomi with your Abyssal Alloy ingot, as you understood that he will put a lot of care into the sword he will forge for you. Your head was in the clouds, thinking about what Dolgomi could make you, but what Rei added after made you fall back on earth :

"It costs 60 gold coins though, we're very lucky the Legends are willing to pay for everything we buy !"

This time, you were too stunned to answer. This staff was so expensive ! Even with all the money you had, you wouldn't be able to buy it without the help of the Ladies... And Douma coming with the staff she chose didn't help you. The staff was made out of a kind of black steel, that you've never seen before, and on one of its end were two silver snakes spiraling around the staff, their head at the top of the staff with a ruby encased in their open mouths.

"It i-is a healing s-staff... We are lu-lucky the Legends are p-paying for us... It would h-have costed us 40 gold coins..."

Hearing this, you sighed heavily, astonished by the prices of these items, then jumped in surprise as you heard the voice of Dolgomi in your back.

"Mate, ya seem surprised. That's normal costs for this stuff here, ya don't need to worry at all about that, just focus on ya a bit, will ya ? Look around, ya'll surely find somethin' interesting."

"I guess so..." You reply, looking still astonished by these prices, before you start walking around the shop, looking for weapons and armor essentially, and it didn't take long for you to find what you wanted : you quickly stumbled upon a leather armor. A special kind of armor though, as it was very light, with almost nothing protecting your arms, legs or stomach, but you could see a light blue glow on it, and when Dolgomi saw you staring at the armor, he said :

"Good choice here, lad ! That's a blessed armor. With its blessing, most of the damage ya take will be transferred to the armor, and ya wounds will be far less serious."

It didn't take long for you to decide on taking that, but then, you just stopped when you saw a sword : its blade was made of bronze, and the handle and hilt of the sword were made of the same material, with intricate patterns and a rune on them. How did you know it was a rune ? You just listened to Dolgomi :

"That a good sword here, mate ! I encased a rune of shadow banish onto it, works like a charm against creatures of the dark. Ya might wanna try it on some devils, ya'll see its effectiveness. I've heard y'all gonna fight the Chaos Legion, so ya might wanna take that."

Seems like your choice of equipment is done. As for Rei and Douma, they decided to take a version of the leather armor that Dolgomi encased with an invisibility rune, so that the armors aren't visible on them. That will be everything you buy though, as the Legends paying for your stuff are right here with you, and you don't want to make them look at all the things you will buy with their (probably) hard-earned money.
