Sweet, sweet victory!

Starly leaps into action with a quick attack, this time before you even have to order it. It was after all the only move to land last time. The attack hits landing a critical as the foes Abra is launched backwards and into the wall.

"Starly keep it up! Quick attack!" A second attack launches Alex's Abra finally beginning to recover he responds.

"Abra, Teleport to dodge and use Hidden Power!" You know exactly what is about to happen, and as such you respond quickly.

"Starly, stop! Turn and use Quick Attack!" There is a moment of silence as Starly stops mid air as quickly as he can, turning sharply to launch in the direction of the Abra that is just now appearing behind him. His quick attack hits and Abra falls to the ground, fainted. You did it! This time you won! You leap up and down in your excitement and Alex comes over to pay you 50PD. He looks really downtrodden but at the moment you couldn't care less. You won! That's when Jared approaches, he's a few inches taller than Alex, who was already a decent amount taller than yourself. You find yourself a little intimidated.

"My turn? Same rules?" You feel almost trapped. But you want to beat him before you go. You swallow your fear and respond.

"Let's do this!"
