Swap: Gender

She had already changed herself so much, at this point she might as well try to make her identity fit her current appearance. Ash was thinking along those lines as she once again skimmed the buttons of the remote, hoping to somehow find one that could do just that. Considering her goal, the idea of trying a button that seemed at least somewhat related came to her mind, but would that even work? The ones she had used so far could only be differentiated by color, but maybe there was at least some sort of meaning to them.

When Ash skimmed the various options, her eyes eventually landed on the pink button. She wanted the way others saw her to fit her female body, but was this really the one that could accomplish that? With no better options apparent to her, she decided that this was her best shot at the moment. Still, in order to at least somewhat minimize the risk, she opted to use the button from the Swap-Category. That way, any change could simply be reverted if need be.

After hearing the clicking sound of the remote, Ash didn't notice any visible differences about herself. Looking down, both her body and clothes didn't seem to have experienced any changes this time around. Had this been something less tangible again, as it had with the occupation swap? She would remain uncertain for only a moment, however, as the moment she lifted her head back up, a grin of realization began to take over her face.

Right in front of Ash, where just seconds before had sat a girl in male clothes, now sat what looked to be just an ordinary male trainer. He still had the same light brown hair, though now much shorter and a bit more messy under his cap. His shirt was no longer pushed forward by a pair of breasts, instead now covering a broader frame with wide shoulders and somewhat stronger arms. By the looks of it, the only notable protrusion on his clothes now seemed to be in his crotch area, no doubt a sign that he was indeed a full male. All in all, her old outfit now looked much more fitting on his new frame.

Ash's happy grin remained on her face for a few more moments. The sight before her easily cleared away her uncertainty about just what it was she had swapped with the other trainer: their genders! That would also explain why she herself hadn't experienced any physical changes. Since she already had both a female body and female clothes, all that was left to change must have been the way others saw her.

Unfortunately, there was no immediate way for her to check her identity, seeing as she had left her Trainer ID in her bag upstairs. If her name had changed with her perceived gender, she would most likely find out at a later point. Still, Ash felt confident that she had achieved exactly what she set out to do. Sometimes, luck really was on her side!

Now that she had returned to a fairly normal state of being, even if entirely different from her original self, Ash was once again left with the question of what to do next. It was probably time for her to change things up a bit, be that with a new subject or finally testing out the other types of buttons. However, she could also just leave things as they were, taking some time to check out this version of reality. Tapping her finger on the side of the remote, she considered her options.
