Suspicious Questions

"Who are you???" - Adeline asked directly at the dragon girl, as she stared deep into her yellow eyes, trying to find what her intentions were. And while the android girl's caught everyone by surprise, Haze was able to come up with a response, although she really didn't know how to give Adeline a response that would please her.

"I think we already answered that question, I don't know if you didn't listen or-" - Haze replied, slightly nervously, as she could tell Adeline had a lot of negative emotions for her, when she didn't even do anything to her. But before she could finish her sentence, Haze was interrupted by Adeline, who continued showing her skepticism, and even hate against the monster girls.

"No, I mean who exactly are you?? Tell me what you do for a living!" - Adeline asked again, but more aggressively, to the point she yelled, and made everyone jump. She was showing a lot of sudden contempt, specifically towards Haze, who even though tried not to be affected by it, she couldn't help but stutter, from a lack of response. But while the dragon girl became speechless, Erys had to respond for her, even though she was also a bit taken aback by Adeline's aggressiveness.

"Oh, I think I know how to answer that!!... As we already told you, we are just recruiters and loyal servants of Wrath... Haze is like the head of the group, and the one who chooses which people we should recruit... Tsuri is the one that usually searches for them, and when she finds them she can train them to become strong warriors... And I'm the one who seduces them into coming with us..." - Erys replied playfully, trying to appear friendly to everyone, and even making them laugh, which she didn't achieve, as she just got everyone feeling awkward. Finn was the one most uncomfortable by Erys' indirect flirts at him, but since Adeline wasn't calmed down by her response, so the slime girl had to continue explaining herself.

"I know we seem like dangerous monsters, and we are...But you don't need to be afraid of us, it’s not like we want to eat you... We are just trying to do our job here, and I think we could even have some fun together if we get to know each other..." - Erys told, in a more mischievous manner, to seem more convincing, and finally getting most of the villagers to trust her, even Finn, who was now visibly embarrassed, after the slime girl looked directly at him, and reminded him about how she seduced him yesterday. Haze was relieved to hear Erys took care of answering Adeline's question pretty well, but before she could relax, the android girl tried to get even more answers from her.

"But are you planning to stay here for days, just to wait for a response from Finn??? I don't think you would wait for that long for something as simple as a yes or no.. So what are you going to do with him?? Where are you taking him???" - Adeline asked, in a sort of hysterical rage, that weirded everyone out. But as the android girl ignored the suspicious looks her friends were giving her, Haze knew she couldn't ignore all of her questions, so she tried to remain calm, and respond to at least the few that he could actually answer.

"Look, we are not here just to bring him a message... If he does choose to become a hero, then it's our duty to train him personally, and prepare him for his training program... That's why we have to stay for a while, to make sure he succeeds, or at least follow him until we get him to join the program... Tsuri could train him for a few days, that should be enough for him to learn everything he needs to start his mission, I'm sure he would need it... But after that, we can let him train on his own, and it will no longer be our business..." - Haze replied, in a sincere, straight forward, but slightly impatient manner, after being overwhelmed by Adeline's questions, but still being able to give her a good response. And even though she answered most of the doubts the villagers had, and maybe she explained too much, Haze got upset to see that Adeline still didn't trust her.

Everyone was getting more suspicious of the android girl than the menacing looking dragon girl, and that let Adeline know she was being too aggressive, and tried to control herself, although she kept looking at Haze, with a cold, judgmental stare, that she wanted to get in the dragon girl's mind. But while Haze tried to ignore Adeline's intense staring, it seemed like her response also triggered Faranne somehow, as she got a bit frustrated, after hearing that the monster girls were going to train Finn, or spend more time with him, which to her felt like they were stealing from him.

"Okay, first, you don't even know if Finn wants to become a hero... Secondly, I have trained that boy for years, and he has learned and improved a lot with his combat skills, so I don't think he will need help from you... and there is no way I'm letting you spend time alone with Finn, I don't know what nasty things that slime girl could do..." - Faranne said jealously, as she believed Haze planned to replace her as Finn's role model, and while the dragon girl didn't say anything about it, there was a clear reason to assume the monster girls would be taking care of Finn, and maybe teaching him strange values, or turn him evil somehow. Faranne wasn't going to let a strange monster girl take her place in being Finn's mentor, but apparently he didn't really mind, and was actually looking forward to train with either Haze or Tsuri, because he knew Erys wouldn't be a good mentor.

"No, it's fine Faranne... I'm still not sure if I want to leave the island, but I do think I could use some more training... So just to see, can you show me what kind of combat tricks could you teach me?" - Finn said with enthusiasm, for training with a monster girl, and to show Faranne he was making a good decision, or at least he believed it was a good idea. And while Faranne didn't feel comfortable with Finn training with anyone but her, she became a bit more skeptical of the monster girls, just as her natural instinct to protect her beloved Finn. But before Faranne could oppose the idea, Tsuri already was offering herself, to serve as Finn's trainer from now on, and to teach him as much as she could with her shark combat knowledge.

"Ohhh, yes, you won't regret it... I'm going to make you the greatest warrior in this world, with just a couple training sessions with me... and a lot of hard work..." - Tsuri replied cheerfully, and also getting a bit suggestive, to show her excitement to train Finn. And since he was just as excited to learn more about fighting, he stood up from the table, and intended to start immediately with his training, which his friends, and even Erys found surprising.

"Wait, Finn... Are you sure??" - Faranne asked with concern, right as Zoey also tried asking Finn if he was making the right call, which he was very confident of.

"Yea, don't worry... I'm sure it’s not going to be so hard, and besides, I already wanted to train more so why not?" - Finn replied, with a lively, and charming smile, as he was already imagining how he would become a great hero. And before some of his friends could talk more to him, and maybe prevent him from going with the sharkgirl, Tsuri found Finn's excitement to train impressive, or at least very amusing. And since they were both ready to start the training, Tsuri didn't hesitate to take Finn to his first session, where he hoped he could learn a lot from the sharkgirl, even though his friends were worried for him...
