From the outside, it looked as though the pool was infinitely deep, and reflected the stars in a clear sky, far from the light-spill of big cities. The Invisible Woman's legs disappeared. Her whole lower body went transparent, the better so that she could see what happened as she stepped into the pool. Watched as well as felt the warm, thick ooze surround the hollow of space where her body was. Eager little tendrils rose to climb her thigh as she carefully moved further into the pool. Tiny eyes opened amid the star-like specks that hung suspended in the absolute blackness. Tiny lips formed and fluttered around her toes, minuscule teeth gnawed at cuticles in a way that tickled as they exfoliated dead skin.

Except Sue Storm wasn't here for foot worship. She knelt down, and her naked labia touched the hot, sticky blackness. Hot as blood, thick as molasses. "Stupid nerd shit is the point," Sue said as she was pulled down into the black ooze. The starry surface of the shoggoth seemed to solidify a little as identifiable anatomical bits emerged. Night-dark cunts that wept ebon tears; small, puffy breasts with stiff nipples that oozed black milk; little waving pseudopods that ended in human lips; ten-inch black tongues frilled with strange nodules.

“If I had to offer some criticism, it was a bit difficult for a newcomer to guess what sort of doom was in store for Susan based on the villain name along.”

Sue Storm's smile was the last part of her visible as a tentacle plucked the tablet from her hands.

"That's the secret, darlings," Sue's breathy voice was a note of excitement and trepidation. "There's no carefully-plotted ending, only a vague goal and so many paths to get there. Zeebop makes it all up as he goes along. He tries to give the readers what they want—"

The Invisible Woman was pulled under the surface. A black bubble rose and burst with a soft "blup"—then silence.
