Susan Storm Is Scared

The Invisible Woman's heart hammered in her chest. Nails dug into the arms of the chair. Muscles tense and a-quiver, breathing too fast.

"I'm...terrified," she said.

Although Sue Storm couldn't see it, Dr. Stone blinked, almost losing her concentration. The golden aura around the villain's head intensified slightly.

"Why is that?" Dr. Stone said, voice carefully calm.

"She's...so big. So strong," Sue gulped.

In her mind's eye, She-Hulk had risen entirely from the surf that crashed around her. She loomed over the seated heroine, with those massive shoulders, water running down the insanely chiseled abs, the massive biceps and thighs. The wet hair was long and scraggly as seaweed...and did nothing to hide the bare breasts, the green nipples hard and jutting. Sue shrank in on herself as the sudden urge to pee hit her.

"Were you...bullied, as a child?" Dr. Stone said.

"Not as a child," Sue croaked, mouth suddenly dry. "But...later..."

Images flashed through the Invisible Woman's mind. A PE teacher. Ms. Scissors. A massive hulk of a woman. Sue Storm had taken a remedial PE class in the summer between her senior year at highschool and her freshman year of college. It was her first time living on her own, in the dorm, and the program was more like a boot camp to make sure young ladies didn't gain the freshman fifteen.

Sue remembered endless laps around the track. Fell runs over fields and hiking trails. Puking and then feeling Ms. Scissors picking her up and forcing her to run more. The woman had been an Olympian, took Bronze or something, and was juiced to within an inch of her life. She had run Sue Storm and the other young women ragged...

...but mostly Sue.

Before her, the image of She-Hulk twisted, and for a moment Sue Storm saw Ms. Scissors staring down at her.

Dr. Stone listened to this all impassively. Waited for Sue to finish.

"Alright," Dr. Stone said. "We can work with that."
