Chapter 33 by Xexus Xexus

What's next?

Surrender to the demons

There really wasn't much of a choice, at least that's what you told yourself. You tried to retain your identity as this legendary hero this entire time but you couldn't resist the dark allure these demons had to offer. Adding to that, it was clearly wrong to help exterminate their people. At the same time you couldn’t bring your self to fight humans. It may have been the cowards way out, but you didn’t want the blood on your hands.

I surrender.

The demons’ reactions were as varied as their forms. Cygnus breathed a sigh of relief sagging like she just had the weight of the world lifted off her shoulders. Cetus lifted her arms high in the air cheering before patting you on the back with a bit too much ****. All the while Cassiopeia just stared at you, here eyes questioning. They seemed to scream "Is this was really what you want".

The other two eventually noticed the tension in the air, so they walked off while you walked the opposite way with Cass. She didn’t look upset per-say but she didn’t look happy either. You had to explain… she had to understand but as you began to speak she pressed a finger to your lips.

I don’t want you to apologize… I just want to know… about us.

You thought for a moment, but only because you had been on a completely different mental track not because there was any doubt.

I love you, I want to stay with you.” you said finally, meaning the words.

A smile crosses her lips, but the tension hadn’t left her yet “Do you want me to stop fighting too?

This was a harder question, but you had an answer already. When she joined you all that time ago, she agreed to help you but wouldn’t directly fight her own people. She did her best to support you while avoiding demons. You tell her you would do the same, that the roles were now reversed.

That… I guess that would work… but it may be easier if we stay away from combat… You were alone... I would be expected to lead. No... for you I will remove my self from the fighting.” finally you see her relax.

"You don't need to... I just..."

Would you be willing to give the relics to Cetus?

She cut you off with another hard question. In the end, you do want the demons to win, so it would make sense to put them in the hands of the strongest of the generals. After some mental gymnastics convincing your self that it wouldn’t be your fault, whatever she does with them… and that swiftly ending the war was for the best. Finally you nodded your acquiescence.

And so you helped the demon generals acquire the third relic which was a pendant that had glowed with holy golden light until you touched it. Like the sword and shield that brightness turned into a dark miasma but you no longer feared your corruption and besides you wouldn’t keep it anyway. With no regrets you handed all three of the tainted artifacts to Cetus.

For her part, the kelpie demon was ecstatic. Her smile went from ear to ear. The power imparted by the relics as well as the palpable aura of darkness made her seem more formidable than she was before. With such power there was no need for stealth, yet for you they snuck out of the city rather than fighting their way out.

Cygnus and Cetus traveled with you and Cass until you reached the border. Each night was a celebration where you were rewarded with three beautiful cocks. One at a time or all three at once, your lovers took the opportunity to explore as many positions as possible with you. Upon arriving at the forward base you and Cass left the two champions and boarded a carriage heading for the demon king’s castle.

Your lover’s mood brightened more and more as you traveled, each day brought more acceptance of the situation. She didn’t hide her mixed feelings, but made it clear you were more important than anything else. So much so that when you arrived at the castle she entered with you on her arm proudly displaying your relationship to all the demon nobles and soldiers. A guard came with a collar "for the prisoner" and she slapped it away declaring you her betrothed.

And so you entered the Demon King’s throne room with head held high as her equal. It like the rest of the castle was carved from black stone with silver veins running through it's polished surface. Blood red carpets ran through the center and provocative metal sculptures filled niches and alcoves along the walls. At the far end of the room on a raised dais was a stone throne.

There you finally laid eyes on the creature you were summoned to defeat. At this point you were unsurprised to see an exceedingly tall red skinned demon woman with breasts bigger than Cygnus’s and blazing red eyes. Her four black wings were large and spread behind her. Her tail was as thick as her thigh with a barbed tip at the end. Her horns were large and curled like a ram’s. She wore no clothes, instead decorated her body with jewelry and piercings made from rare metals and sparkling gems.

The only thing that did surprise you was that she did not have a penis like her three generals... In fact every demon that you met whose clothes were at all revealing clearly had a penis. You realized then that the demon’s never had a king. Their ruler was probably always a female.

A Demon Queen. Now your Queen.

You and Cass knelt together and lowered you heads only slightly.

Fornax wore a smirk of amusement at your petty defiance but waved her hand for you two to stand almost immediately. Cass respectfully reported all that happened on your adventure together. Mostly broad strokes but your fiance did not gloss over how much sex you all had or your inspections of the demon lands.

… and so I would like to announce my resignation from the military and my engagement to The Hero Parsa who has surrendered to me.

And I can’t convince the two of you to serve me in a more active way?

I would not ask my love to fight if she does not wish to and I will not leave her side.

With a long sigh the queen relented. She clearly understood taking The Hero off the board and commanding the holy relics was more than she could have ever hoped for and so didn't want to push her luck. “Very well, but I do not accept your resignation, you are indispensable. Instead consider it a leave of absence… a wedding gift. Once the war is over I will need you... honestly I will need you both to keep the peace.

Cass looked at you questioningly at this command. You were unsure what she would do if you said no, but luckily you had no problems with the Queen’s proposal so you nodded.

We accept.

Excellent, please stay here in the castle as long as you desire, you are dismissed.

You left the throne room and Cassiopeia led you silently through countless corridors. Eventually you reached a locked door which she produced the key for. Only when you were both inside the richly appointed room did she breath a sigh of relief. Your lover flopped onto the massive bed that was the center piece and turned her sparkling purple eyes to you.

I was really scared there for a minute…

Is she that strong?

Yes but that’s not the reason… how do I put this… it is hard to defy her if you are a demon… you want to obey her… it isn’t an irresistible compulsion… at least not for me. I was still scared she would try something, try to influence you through me.

You nod shivering a little at the thought.

This is my room by the way, and yours now.

You took a few moments looking around. Large windows illuminated brightly colored wall hangings that broke up the black stone of the walls. The space was large with room for two couches and a table as well as a few book shelves and a desk. Most things seemed to be stored except for scattered books and a surprising amount of brightly colored sex toys. When you turned back to Cass she motioned for you to come closer. Once in range she grabbed your arm pulling you down onto the bed with her.

Even though you are now sharing my bed, don’t expect to get much sleep.

Time passed and over the years, you gave birth to manychildren thanks to Cassiopeia's endless lust. Each inherited the Hero’s abilities despite being demons. You were proud to hear that your first daughter had defeated King Cepheus but had conflicting feeling about how she was keeping him as a pet.

The human controlled cities fell one by one, those who resisted were killed or made into slaves but it was no longer your concern.

The end
