You don't remember how long you ran but you never released Kal's hand. You held it tightly and ran with blind trust. All considerations she had for you had disappeared. She knew that if they slowed down even for a moment they would die. That roar wasn’t made by something they could takedown.

After running for a bit Kal checked around to see if we were still being pursued when she made sure they weren’t they slowed it to a walk

“It’s really dangerous to go back now that the lord is there,” Said Kala without turning back
