Although he wasn't sure whether Karen was making fun of him or actually trying to help, Matt wasn't about to turn down the suggestion. Besides, Karen was hot and it couldn't hurt for him to be seen with hot girls. So, he and Karen walked together, chatting about their biology homework, about whether Amy really should have her breasts enhanced, and about the many creeps in the school... although Karen didn't think Jordan and Freddy were quite as creepy as Matt did.

When they got to the place where Freddy and Jordan were lying in ambush, Karen squeezed his arm. "Let me take care of this."

"So guys," she called out, "Matt here has been tutoring me in trig and it's like, completely making sense. I heard you've got some guys here in summer school because they need their grades up if they're going to be eligible. Matt is a lot cheaper than the tutors your parents are paying for." She batted her eyes. "Sure would be nice to go to a school with a winning football team."

"We're going to have a winning football team," Freddy shouted. "The best football team. If some of the guys get D.Q. that just means the rest of us will work harder."

"Yeah, sure," Karen said. "But it would be a shame for them to miss this great season."

"I'll think about it," Jordan announced.
