Chapter 6 by Aphelion

Are Terrence's preferences honored?

Sure, this isn't a mind control story (so far)

"accepted! Quite a man isn't he folks? Worried about a dance because he'd feel like a dirty rotten cheater? Maybe he just knows his fiancee wouldn't like it? No matter, there are no requirements for someone who has made no guarantees from participating in the results of an auction. We will simply draw another ticket."

The auctioneer gestured irritably, and the assistant with the bag reappeared as if from nowhere.

Terrence sat back down with a sigh.

"Oh Ter! You stood up to that strange man for me! Agreeing to marry you was the best decision in my life," said Janette, tugging her chair over by Terrence, and smothering him in the biggest hug she could.

"Wow man, never seen a newb stand up to the auctioneer like that," said Damien, "experienced patrons know the score, but the new blood always obeys. Always." Damien had a faraway look on his face, then shook his head and smiled brightly at Terrence.

"I couldn't have done that. Disappoint so many people," Kayla looked at the closest tale and grimaced, "maybe we should stay under the radar and not bid on anything for a bit, y'know, not draw more attention?"

"Very romantic Ter," said Wyatt with a firm nod, and a glimmer-like glance toward Kayla that went unnoticed.

Unnoticed by everyone except Kat, who was watching Wyatt closely, and getting bored. She drained her drink and stretched, cat-like. "Well I don't know about my scaredy-cat sister, but I'm not standing back. Now we all have to watch strangers dance for a bit? Please. Bo-ring! Right Wyatt," Kat scooched her chair over closer to Wyatt and patted his arm.

"Err, Kayla makes a good point—"

"I'll show you scaredy, Kat," squeaked Kayla, also scooching her chair closer to Wyatt, until he was practically sandwiched between them, "there's a difference between being afraid and being cautious. It's best to only bid at the right moment! Every auction is like that, right Wyatt."

Wyatt just nodded, struggling with a face somewhere between ecstatic smile and nervous collapse. A bit like he was going to cum in his pants, and afraid everyone would know it.

The teasing catfight continued right through the dance. If Damien hadn't cleared his throat and tapped the paddle on their table the threesome may have kept on right through the next auction, but instead they all looked acceptably ashamed and started paying attention to the auctioneer.

"—and for the second auction of the night!"

What is the second auction of the night?
