Chapter 20 by Zeebop Zeebop

How does Sue Storm feel about Dr. Stone?

Sue Storm Trusts Dr. Stone's Method, But Has To Tell Her Husband

"It's all part of the process," Sue Storm told herself, as she walked back to the Baxter Building. Most of what had happened once they had gotten inside the building was a little fuzzy in her mind. Yet she couldn't deny the results. Sue felt relaxed, energetic. While she still felt a little guilty about the sexual aspect of Dr. Stone's therapy, and how she hadn't discussed that with Reed, the Invisible Woman had to admit that the whole BDSM-based therapy was doing wonders for her stress relief and sexual self-confidence.

But did the benefits outweigh the drawbacks?

Sue **** a smile as she arrived home. Franklin and Valeria were playing with some holographic 3D puzzle in the living room. She waved at them, and headed toward the lab, where she found Reed, playing with a not-too-dissimilar holographic puzzle, although this one appeared to be a blown-up atomic model of a complex molecule.

"Fascinating," he whispered.

"Reed? Can I have your undivided attention for a moment?" Sue said. "I have to talk to you about something."

"Of course, darling," he said. "What's this about?"

"My...therapy sessions with Dr. Stone," Sue said. She reached forward and grabbed his hands in hers. "She thinks a lot of the stress I've been feeling is sexual. That I haven't been fulfilled in our current marriage. She's been...I've been undergoing sex therapy with her. Trying to use BDSM sessions to see if that would help."

Sue clutched Reed's hands so tight that for a moment they went rubbery and deformed in her grip.

"And it works. It really works. I feel better. But I'm...I'm feeling guilty. That I didn't tell you sooner. Before it got that point. So I wanted to tell you now. Because I want to continue, but I don't...I don't want to lie to you about it. If I keep going, if I work with Dr. Stone this way, I want your blessing."

Reed Richards took a deep breath. He was, she could tell, shocked. His mind seemed to race through a thousand possibilities, a million replies. Then at last, he lifted his eyes and looked into his wife's.

"Of course, Sue," Reed Richard said. "I want you to be well. And while I'm shocked about this, as long as it's...within a clear medical context, I can accept this. On one condition."

What is Reed Richard's condition?
