Chapter 6 by Zeebop Zeebop

What does Sue Storm do with this information?

Sue Storm Prepares to Confront Moonstone

Shock went through Sue Storm's brain, just as her pussy pinched tight. Her hand cupped her labia, knees pressed together, as the involuntary climax ripped through her body, and it took everything the Invisible Woman had to contain her scream.

It left her panting, in a puddle in the chair. Her blue eyes watered and she blinked away tears—yet she felt a flood of clarity run through her. She hadn't meant to touch herself, she hadn't meant to cum. Yet she had. Somehow, that had broken her out of whatever state she had been in. With dawning awareness, Sue realized how unusual her encounter with the psychiatrist had been—how much of it she couldn't seem to remember clearly—and then this strange compulsion to watch porn...

Her blue eyes fixed on the image of Moonstone. Nick Fury had quite a file of images on her. Sue clicked through them slowly, left-handed, as she panted and quivered in the afterglow.

"You put the whammy on me," she whispered under her breath.

While the file said nothing about Karla Sofen, a.k.a. Moonstone, having any hypnotic or mind-control powers, it did list her degrees in psychiatry, her suspended license to practice, full details on her gravity-manipulation powers derived from an alien crystal. Still, Sue had no doubt in her mind that Moonstone was Dr. Stone—and she had been manipulating Sue.

To what purpose, the Invisible Woman did not know. Yet she was determined to find out.

Sue's gaze lingered for a moment as the image gallery moved to a "wardrobe accident." It had occurred when Moonstone was pretending to be Captain Marvel; the villain's shirt had been completely shredded, and for a few seconds her breasts had been completely revealed. The Invisible Woman wondered how much S.H.I.E.L.D. had paid the lucky photographer for that shot.

She downloaded the entire file, and set about to clean up her mess. Sue knew she had work to do.

"Susan," Emma Frost said. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"An enemy has been trying to manipulate my mind," Sue said. "I don't know how, exactly. Can you...put some psychic shields in place, or something? Harden my mind so that I'm not so easy to hypnotize or influence?"

The tall, statuesque blonde mutant considered. Sue Storm had come to her in person. She had told Reed and the others that she wanted to pay a social call, keep up good relations with the mutants. In truth, Sue didn't want to admit to Reed and the others what she'd been up to. Using the S.H.I.E.L.D. database as a spank bank was mortifying. Emma Frost, however, was a woman. Sue hoped she would understand.

"I can try," Emma Frost said. She raised her arms; they were covered in elbow-length white leather gloves. "But be aware that there are many forms of manipulation. I can put in place some psychic roadblocks—teach you a few tricks you can try—but they will be most effective against fellow telepaths, no ****, psychological manipulation, pheromones, or any of the many other ways that exist. It will also tend to make you more...stubborn. Willful. Obstinate. Less willing to submit, instinctively fighting any form of control. You may even reject well-meant advice. Are you sure you want that?"

"I need the security of mind," Sue said with a curt nod.

The fingertips lightly touched her head. Sue couldn't feel Emma muck about in her brain. A part of her wondered if the mutant could read her memories. Why she had come here. What she had been doing.

"If you think you are around a telepath," Emma Frost told her. "Imagine your mind has gone invisible. Just like when you use your powers. If you think someone is trying to manipulate your mind, picture an inviolate invisible shield around your brain. They cannot penetrate it. They cannot touch your inner self..."

The words sank in. Deep within Susan Storm, her resolve hardened.

"Darling," Sue Storm asked that night, as she rooted around the armory. "Do you know where that gravity nullifer is? The handheld one?"

"Third shelf on the right," Mister Fantastic said. His arm stretched out past her to the appropriate drawer, and he tapped in the security code to unlock it without thinking. "Why do you need it?"

Sue reached in and pulled out the smooth blue rod. It was Rigellian technology, not really a weapon per se. Yet if it worked the way Sue thought it did, it should cancel out many of Moonstone's powers.

As for Reed's question...Sue decided on a half-truth.

"I was looking at the S.H.I.E.L.D. file for Moonstone," the heroine admitted. "She might be operating here in Manhattan. I was thinking if we ever encounter her, the gravity nullifer might be handy."

Reed nodded and smiled. "Interesting thought, darling. Moonstone's powers come from an alien gem, which is part of a nexus of alien minerals that conduct higher-dimensional energies into our plane. Gravity itself extends across multiple dimensions; the Rigellian technology could potentially counteract the gem's normal properties for a time—though I need to do some calculations..."

Sue smiled and nodded back. She gave him a polite kiss on the cheek.

She kept the rod with her, even at night. Every evening she reviewed Moonstone's file, to memorize as much about her as possible. Yet her browsing always took her back to that topless photo of her. Sue Storm rubbed the blue rod against her panty-clad labia. Ever since her visit with Emma Frost, she had ceased to second-guess her approach. The Invisible Woman was determined to confront Moonstone on her own—at her next regularly scheduled appointment.

How does the appointment go?
