Sue Storm Dreamed About Dr. Stone Again

"Did you ever have that dream where you're in class, or on a stage, and you suddenly realize you're naked?" Sue Storm said. "Just, that wave of shame and embarrassment that you can't hide?"

"It's a very common dream," Dr. Stone said, noncommitally.

Sue was in a pale blue dress and sunhat today, which matched the bright, warm day. She looked almost ridiculously wholesome. Dr. Stone, in her black pencil skirt and an almost see-through white blouse that clearly showed off her bra, looked like a wet dream of a naughty librarian. It made Karla feel a little slutty. A little cheap.

"Ever since I got my powers, I don't have those dreams anymore," Sue said, holding her teacup with both hands. "Instead, it's always someone else. Someone next to me suddenly realizes they're naked. Except I know that I'm doing it. That I'm the cause. Usually it's someone that embarrassed or upset me. I imagine Iron Man flying through the air, and suddenly he's a naked man, and everyone can see how small and crooked his penis is. Or James Jonah Jameson is giving a press conference, and suddenly he's this shrimp-dicked old codger. But lately, I've been having those dreams about women."

"Oh?" Dr. Stone said, and she sipped her own tea.

"I was dreaming I was in a fight with the Masters of Evil—do you remember them? And suddenly they were all naked. Photographers were taking pictures. Some of them tried to cover up, but it was useless. Their hands disappeared so no matter how they turned, their bodies were on display. Not just their genitalia, but their faces. Secret identity exposed."

Sue tasted her tea, lost in the image.

"I see," Dr. Stone said. "Have you...often thought about embarrassing your opponents in that way?"

"Oh yes," the Invisible Woman said with a nod. "I mean, when you think about it, I could do so much worse than just make someone's clothes invisible. If I really wanted to humiliate them, I could use invisible blades to cut their clothes from their body. Shave off their body hair. Bend them into humiliating poses and puppet them about. Can you imagine?"

Moonstone could imagine. All too well. A sickly clench started in the pit of the villain's stomach. The question was, how to use that? Could she try to "cure" Sue of these impulses—or lean into them? The latter might be more useful in terms of breaking up the Fantastic Four. If Sue gave in to her desire to humiliate a female villain...

Well, it wouldn't be without risk to me, too, Moonstone admitted.

"Let's look deeper into that," Dr. Stone said, and her head tilted so that her glasses caught the light. To Sue Storm, it seemed that the round lenses were two circles of fire, as though Karla's eyes glowed from within. The Invisible Woman did not feel the gravimetric pulse that assaulted her brain, knocking her into a less-inhibited, suggestible state. Karla leaned forward and took the teacup from Sue's hands before she dropped it.
