Sue Spends The Week Saving The Planet

Namor discovered cocaine.

The worldwide oceanic disaster that followed was not just because the King of the Seas was accidentally dosed after intercepting a **** smuggler in the Caribbean, but dealing with Namor on a seven-day bender certainly did not help the Fantastic Four deal with a sudden invasion of aquatic horrors from the abyssal deep.

It gave the Invisible Woman very little time to think of anything else. Not Dr. Stone nude, not her upcoming appointment, not anything beyond survival and using invisible knives to slice and dice alien predators with far too many tentacles and fins. When she finally staggered into her appointment, she felt glad to be fully dressed in a clean uniform not covered in alien fish guts, and not to be reeking like Fulton Street Fish Market on a warm summer afternoon.

Which is to say she was not prepared when Dr. Stone greeted her with a smile and a cup of tea, and nothing else.

Sue Storm was carefully neutral as she sat down in her usual seat, opposite Dr. Stone. Her eyes danced across the ceiling, the carpet. She glanced at the window, with the view of Central Park beyond, but caught a reflection of the naked woman and swiftly looked away.

The heroine felt ridiculous. She had spent the last seven days turning the seas red with the blood of carnivorous aquatic cephalopods and leviathan beasts, yet she couldn't even look at the slim, well-muscled figure of her own psychiatrist in the nude, sitting across from her.

"You don't have to get undressed if you're uncomfortable," Dr. Stone said, after a little quiet sipping of tea.

"Thanks, I won't," Sue said with a smile.

"Have you thought about why you're uncomfortable?" Dr. Stone pressed.

"Not really," Sue replied honestly. In truth,s he couldn't quite put it into words. She had hung out with Namor for a week, and the mutant Atlantean hybrid normally ran around in a green speedo and not much else. The presence of his nipples hadn't upset her. So why was she so **** to look at another woman?

"Would you consent to a little experiment?" Dr. Stone said.

"What's that?" Sue asked.

"Turn my skin invisible."

That brought the Invisible Woman's eyes away from her teacup. She stared into the face of the psychiatrist. The naked blonde radiated confident calm.

"You...what?" Sue asked.

"My skin. Turn it invisible," Dr. Stone said. "Let's see if that helps."

Sue's brow furrowed.

Dr. Stone's skin vanished.

Pink and red muscle showed. Blood vessels pulsed. Dr. Stone sipped her tea, and Sue saw the brown liquid flow past invisible lips. The golden hair still hung down to shoulder-level, hiding most of Dr. Stone's skull, but the doctor's breasts were still there, yellow masses of fatty tissue, the nipples gone but the milk ducts present. Shocked at the living anatomical display before her, Sue said:

"My God, they're real!"

Dr. Stone smiled. It should have been a ghastly sight, but somehow Sue found she wasn't anywhere near as put off by the tableaux of a skinless woman as she was with a naked one.

"They are. Would you like to touch them?"
