"Well, we haven't told the children yet," Sue said. "Or, really, the rest of the family. We're just trying it out. We still love each other, but our sexual needs are...different."

"And you're not jealous at all?" Nairobi said. "I mean, who is your husband going to have sex with?"

"We promised to keep each other informed. For health reasons, if nothing else," Sue said. "So far, he hasn't said anything. But it's only fair, right? If I'm here with you, I can't complain if he...finds someone else whose company he enjoys."

"That is fantastic," Nairobi said. "I mean, I'm jealous. Most marriages cannot survive that kind of openness and equality. My parents broke neither of them could keep from fucking other people. It was really rough on me."

Sue nodded and picked up another rib.
