Chapter 6 by Zeebop Zeebop

What is different when Sue Storm wakes?

Sue's Pussy Is Shaved

The Invisible Woman stared down at her crotch. Normally, she kept herself trimmed down there. Superhero costumes were uncompromising, especially for women, and the tight unstable molecule fabric tended to trap sweat. Yet Sue Storm had always resisted shaving her pubic hair off entirely; she had always held the small golden curls as a mark of womanhood and maturity.

Now, she stared down at her bald snatch. Ran her hands down over it. Not just shaven, but smooth.

"Darling?" Reed's neck stretched around the corner from the bathroom. "Did you use my laser hair removal device last night?"

Sue raised her head. She felt an odd shiver run through her.

"I don't...I don't know..." she said honestly. "Also, why do you even have that!?"

There was nothing for it after that but to check the security footage. Reed insisted that the cameras in their bedroom were a security measure and that the recordings were completely inaccessible to anyone outside the room, yet it still made Sue uneasy. They watched together the footage from last night as Sue rose from the bed, appeared to explore the bathroom, found the tool and used it, then returned to sleep.

"And you have no memory of doing that at all?" Reed said, with a frown. "It's not normal somnambulist behavior."

"None. And I don't know that I've ever sleep-walked in my entire life," Sue insisted.

"Hmm. I suppose it could be a villain like the Puppet-Master," Reed stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Though why he would do this I have no idea. It seems so...unlike him."

Most of the day was busy with tests. Sue blushed as her husband examined her now bald labia with the kind of microscopic thoroughness he normally reserved for protoplasmic samples of alien life. Reed Richards found no **** in Sue Storm's system, no sign of remote implant devices or energy signatures related to mind control. A brief call to the X-Men led to a session with one of their resident telepaths, Psylocke. Sue watched as the butterfly-shaped energy signature radiated from the British woman's face...but then it faded, and she shook her head.

"I can detect no signs of mental intrusion, no hidden hypnotic compulsions. The only memories of last night are of some...peculiar dream," Psylocke said. She frowned. "A very vivid dream. Strange."

Reed folded his arms, unhappy.

"Speaking of whom, we could ask Doctor Strange. He sometimes deals with...mystical entities...that attack through dreams and nightmares."

Sue knew what an admission that was from Reed, who disliked any reference to the occult. She laid a hand on his shoulder.

"If it happens again, we might," Sue said. "But for right now, I think we'll go with the basics."

So it was, when the Invisible Woman laid down for sleep, she fastened a cuff around her ankle. The chain from the cuff was tied to its mate around the leg of the bed. If she did get up, the chain would stop her from going far, and alert Reed.

"Goodnight, darling," Reed said, as he tucked her in. A very rare gesture in their marriage, but he was genuinely worried. "I'll see you in the morning."

Sue smiled, closed her eyes. It was a very long time before she fell to sleep.

What does Sue Storm wake up to?
