Ardour's escape plan was based around getting the piece of Yggdrasil, since with god like power she could leave easily in her mind. The problem was getting in to the vault in the first place. She had a spoofer device she could use to hide from normal security, but the most troublesome elements were the superheroes and the A.I. Stark likely had.

She had seen many similar vaults from villains, maybe not as advance as this, but almost in some cases. The walls were made of a steel-titanium alloy of some kind. She might be able to brute strength it, if needed. Her pride as a cat burgler had pushed her for looking for a more finessed way of getting in.

'Like I expected, there is a vent for controlling the climate in the vault. Both to protect the items inside as well as protect people in it, if needed. Lucky, we have just the thing we need. Let's go fishing.' she thought, as she began her operation. Starting with use tech to neutralize the alarms and sensors.

Then using her claws to carefully cut into the pipes which connected with the Vault. Large enough to get her prize out with careful work. She let loose her line, a tendril of symbiote/webbing. She made a few small eyes on it so they could see where they were going.

Soon they were able to see into the room. Taking in the number of Stark Tech, hero and villain equipment, and more. She scanned the room, looking for her prize when she saw the item. While it had been a Staff once, what remained was a piece of wood. She was lowering down slowly to it, when the alarms went off.

'Damn it! Don't know if it's me or something else. Better get this done quickly.' she thought as she whipped the end of her partner to the wood.

The minute the Symbiote touched the wood, she was back in the mental place where the magic had tried to convince her to take it's power. Taking the form of the old thief the Black Fox, it asked, "Changed your mind? And you brought a friend?"

"Yes! We want your power!" said the two in one voice, as the vistage smiled as it disappeared and the magic flowed into them. Causing them to light up, while disappearing.
