Success
Just in time, you duck beneath and away from an object emerging from the darkness. As it swings back you can see it's a large log meant to knock the wind out of you, it was probably meant as an ambush..
You stay still for a moment, holding your breath and can hear some scuffling up ahead the sound of which grows faint. It appears your attacker(s) have run off.
As you begin to breathe again the log comes to a near stop. You know the path behind you is closed off so you are sure that the attacker had hoped for an advantage, it appears that is no longer the case and you carry on your way.
Eventually, you come at a split with a door to your right and a hall to your left. Wich way to go?
