Success

As the melody drew to a close, a bright light engulfed Liandra's petite form. It was so strong she had to close her eyes. When it faded she looked around her, blinking.
“Good work.” Calcifer said. “Only a strong light can truly destroy a shadow. Same goes for shadow demons.”

Next Liandra chose a gentle aria, it's dulcet tones refreshed her fallen friends. They arose with wonder and gratitude, but soon they were on their way again.
They went deeper into the caves. They saw many other demons, but those were all sleeping. There were fiends like the ones they had fought before. Also huge numbers of imps. Small creatures of a lower class of demons. They didn’t see any demons greater than the fiends. The really big ones had to be far below.

At one time, Nariel saw one of the female demons was wearing a golden necklace, laced with small diamonds. He tried to show off his skills at stealing by taking it, but instead managed to wake the demon up.
The demon screamed loud, once she saw the intruders and all the other demons woke up at once.
Nariel screamed “Run!”
Everybody in the party rushed forward, deeper into the caves. Maybe they could lose them further on.

The caves split up into many more passages. They were capable of losing many of the demons, but they could still hear them coming.
Suddenly, Liandra misplaced her feet and started sliding downwards. She went a long way down and was certain she wouldn’t be seeing her friends again.
When she stopped sliding she was in the lowermost parts of the cavern
“Great.” Liandra thought to herself. “Now where did I get myself into?”
Liandra looked around and saw the cavern she was in had several doors.
