You notice the faint sound. It sounds like... Oh spirits, it sounds like human voices. You carefully approach the grove, sneaking through the shrubbery and undergrowth the best you can in order to avoid being detected. With every metre forward the voices grow louder and clearer. You eventually find a good spot, between two trees that grow very close to each other, from where you seem to be fairly hidden and yet you can hear them clearly and, most importantly, you finally get to see the group.

They are sitting around a bonfire in embers in the middle of a clearing in the grove. They seem to be cooking something, perhaps some bird, for the looks of it. Your mouth waters as the bird's smell reaches you. You are so gods damned hungry.

They are three. Two are men, one of them is quite tall, and fit, his hair cut short. The other one is not as tall, and overweight, his hair cut short too. He isn't speaking much, as he seem way too busy gnawing what must be whatever is left of a previous cooked bird. The third person is a woman, the first young woman you ever see in your adult life. Everything about her strikes you, including the innocent look in her small round face, with its straight nose and bow-shaped lips, all framed by her dark cascading wavy hair. She is actually tall, as much as the other dude, perhaps even slightly taller than you, but she is incresibly beautiful nonetheless, her sexy slim figure driving you mad with lust. Saddly for you, she is wearing a short of poncho made with animal hides and plant fibers, so her chest cannot be seen yet, nor her downquarters, guarded under a rather long plant fiber skirt.

The two men only wear animal skin loincloths.

You take close attention to their conversation.

"I'm being serious, Pram, I'm so, so greatful you offered to come with us. It's a long trip and I feel safer with you..." Says the girl to the tall man while she checks on the roasting bird.

"Don't mention it Shreya, I'm glad to help." answered the tall man in an affable tone.

The other guy suddenly woke up from the trance he had on the cooked bird "Hey Shreya, what about me? Won't you thank your big brother too?"

"Rikam, you had to come with me to the village anyways!" They all three laughed softly.

It is then when you realize. A small detail, in their necks. They are wearing the same necklaces, all three of them. From each lace hanged a small twisted root with a snake head carved in of the ends, all painted in green. The symbol of the Greensnakes. It's them, the ones who killed your tribe. The ones who killed your mother, your father, and your siblings. The ones that **** you and your Grandma to live in awful conditions in the middle of inhabited mountains. Those monsters, those murderers, pure scum. Rage takes over you...
