What's next?

Streaking the city

Kayla hated to admit it, but if she wanted to make it back to the hotel, she was going to have to make a run for it while wearing a couple of stuffed animals. She just needed to figure out which way to go.

That was when she looked down and saw a piece of paper by her foot. Picking it up, she saw that it was one of those maps that tourists always got. That was it!

Kayla looked over the map, completely unaware of the mouse on the fence that was doing the same. After a while, she finally narrowed it down to two options... And neither of them where what she would've considered "good".

The first option she saw was that she could take the outskirts of the city, circling the city before taking the back alleys towards the hotel. This way was a guarantee to not be seen by more people. After all, she had been seen by hundreds already, so she wasn't sure if she could take anymore people seeing her. On the other hand, this was also the longest of the two routes. If she was in a car, she could be at the hotel in a few minutes easily. But on foot? She was looking at several hours of walking, if not A DAY at most. And she was not spending the night outside butt naked!

The second option was much shorter, basically taking the back alleys straight through the middle of the city until she reached the hotel. On paper, this sounded better. But on closer examination, Kayla blushed scarlet as she realized that she would also have to cut through Central Park, The Natural History Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and good old Broadway. It would be a miracle if she WASN'T seen by anyone if she went that route!

Both options were horrible, but Kayla knew that she had to get back to the hotel. She bit her lip as she weighed her options, clutching the stuffed animals tightly to her body as the mouse waited for her to pick what she thought was the lesser of two evils...
