Streaking! (Part of orientation group)

It's been three days since Naomi arrived on campus to begin her college career, and two of those days have been spent in orientation. Naomi was excited for orientation at first, hoping to use it as an opportunity to come out of her shell and make some friends. That excitement quickly faded when she found out that orientation at RMU was barely more than a campus tour and boring icebreaker games that did nothing to actually break the ice. It wasn't all bad, she did end up making a friend with an outgoing blonde freshman girl named Olivia, but she couldn't help feeling that orientation could be a bit more engaging and fun. She felt bad for the orientation leaders, who tried extremely hard to make the "university approved" activities as fun as possible but weren't all that successful.

On the third day of orientation, Naomi didn't notice the time while doing her makeup, causing her to arrive at her group five minutes after the scheduled time of 10:00 a.m. It was slightly embarrassing as the group met in a grassy lawn literally right outside her dorm building, so she didn't really have an excuse. Naomi figured it wasn't a big deal; it's not like it's a class or anything.

"Sorry I'm late, still getting used to all the changes from living back home." Naomi chuckled apologetically as she approached the group of about 30-40 other freshman and 2 orientation leaders in the field.

"No worries, completely understandable. We barely even started yet so it's not like you missed much." one of the two male leaders, Dave, responded.

Naomi took a seat on the warm lawn as she listened in on one of the other leaders discussing the activities for the day.

"... and lastly, as orientation leaders, our duty is to make sure that you guys are getting to know each other, and most importantly, have some FUN! However, we've noticed that these activities clearly are not that fun for you guys, and honestly they weren't fun for us when we were freshmen either. It isn't just our group either. Everyone is sick of lame icebreaker games, and it's time we actually do something interesting." the red headed female leader, Abby, began.

That got Naomi's attention, as well as everyone else in the group. Nobody said anything but anxiously waited to hear what 'interesting' thing she's offering.

"So tomorrow, all orientation leaders across all groups have decided to bring back an old RMU tradition that sadly died over the years. Tomorrow, at this time, our group will meet like we normally do. But instead of regular boring university activities, we will be participating in the first RMU Orientation Streak of this century!" Abby continued with building excitement.

Everyone in the group was silent, as if they didn't understand what they had just heard. Naomi had heard of streaking, but it didn't register that that is what Abby just suggested until Olivia spoke up.

"Wait... when you say 'Streak', you're talking about running through campus without any clothes on... like completely naked?" asked Olivia.

Abby nodded enthusiastically. The group began to whisper and giggle among themselves. Naomi wasn't sure what to think exactly.

"That... IS SO COOL! I think that's an awesome idea!" Olivia squealed.

"I'm so glad you like it! We think it'll be a great way to bond with each other!" Abby said excitedly. "But what does everyone else think?"

Nobody else was brave enough to speak.

"Alrighty, well I can tell you're all too nervous to speak one way or another, so let's do this old fashioned: heads down and we'll put it to a vote." Abby requested.

Everyone put their heads down.

"Raise your hand if you would NOT participate in the Orientation Streak."

Naomi couldn't see what anyone else was voting, which was kinda the point. She almost raised her hand to vote "no", but then it hit her: wasn't she tired of being shy? Didn't she want to leave college with good memories? Of course! But to run naked in front of everyone she just met, and more? That's a tough sell. Then again, it's a helluva lot more interesting than any of the boring games they've played so far. Besides, everyone else would be just as naked, so if everyone else could do it, she could too.

Which is why when Naomi heard Abby call the vote for "Yes", Naomi slowly raised her own hand.

"Wow, so about three fourths of you said that you WOULD streak, which means our group will officially be participating. Well, officially unofficially, since this is absolutely not a university approved event." Abby said to a few chuckles from the group. Seems like everyone else had a similar thought process to Naomi. "So come tomorrow, be prepared to strip off everything and run like the wind! Of course, if you don't want to, you don't have to, but that's lame and you'll be missing out."

The rest of the day contained the usual bullshit events, though everyone had perked up from the discussion about the streak earlier, making it not as bad as the days before. Naomi talked to a few other freshmen in the group, making a couple more friends after exchanging phone numbers.

Naomi woke up the next day feeling both excited and nervous. She had just agreed to get naked with a bunch of other freshmen in her group, and likely dozens more from other groups! When 9:30 came, Naomi had just exited the shower and sat in her dorm room in just her towel. She noticed that her roommate had already left for the day, so with a slight grin she took off her towel and put on her makeup in the nude. It felt so odd, though liberating, to be completely nude in a room that wasn't a bathroom. She then realized that in half an hour she will be just as naked while surrounded by probably more than a hundred other freshmen.

By the time 9:55 came, Naomi realized she hadn't gotten dressed yet and needed to do so in a couple minutes lest she arrive to orientation late two days in a row. She opened up her closet before a naughty idea came to her mind:

What if she just walked out naked? The group meets right outside the building, and she is going to be naked in front of everyone anyway. But still... that's quite a bold move.

Could she do it? Or does she quickly put on an outfit before leaving?
