Strange tower

Eva took a deep breath and chose to go to the 'stone tower'. If she found her way back (oh, she noticed that she already doubted that she would get back from wherever she was) she could maybe tell others about nice climbing location if it turned out to be good place to climb. Certainly anything that strange looking is nice to find and report.
She hiked closer and when she was about half kilometer out she started taking pictures of the place. After zooming at it she noticed she could see someone up on the top of the tower. "Great!" she thought. Eva started to walk more briskly towards the tower and it was in a no time she was down there and someone up there also saw her. She - it definitely was a she - shouted at the Eva from top of the tower "Help, please help me!". Eva looked up and thought several things to say either at this lady apparently in some sort of evening dress or anyone else responsible for this situation. Only thing missing here would either be a dragon or the clothed figure on the top of the tower calling her prince or knight. This definitely was either a bad dream or bad reality television program.
"How did you end up there?" Eva shouted back at her.
"I don't know!" She answered.
Eva would have doubted the answer a lot more if she hadn't woken at a strange place only about two hours ago. At least she had her gear with her.
"I can get you down, but it will take some time. You don't need to worry. I just need to scout around to see best place to climb up." Eva shouted back.
It was very tower-like formation - nothing unknown, but nothing she'd have expected in this environment. There were plenty of holds she could see so this promised to be relatively easy especially since she didn't need to take her backpack with her up there. She set up a temporary camp, put on climbing gear and started climbing. Lady-on-top-of-tower was talkative sort and Eva answered her when she could while climbing and setting up nuts to keep her safe. It certainly was distressing place to find yourself on she thought.
She got up without trouble, but it was tiring. Most dangerous moment was when the lady-on-top-of-the-tower hugged her. She could have fallen down and Eva could have broken her hips hanging there. No point telling her that though - not yet anyway.
"Thank you my sweet prince." She said trying to kiss her.
"Princes tend to be more of a manly sort I've heard." Eva said not responding to her approach. "Maybe we should get you down from here? It is probably a lot safer down there."
"Umm... yes... that's probably wisest." She said looking slightly confused.
"Here - I brought you a harness. Good thing I like to carry a spare with me in my backpack just in case." Eva said offering her a harness. "You need to step into it from there - left leg goes through that hoop and right leg on the opposite hoop."You tighten all three hoops pulling these parts here..." Eva explained all the necessary details and fastened this silly girl safely so they could descend together.
They descended together after Eva had set up anchor for them. While rappelling Eva noticed she did find the lady rather attractive. On the bottom of the tower Eva asked "What's your name?"
"Marianne. And your?" Marianne answered.
"Eva." Eva answered too.
"I don't know how to thank you properly." Marianne said. It sounded like a bad cliché and Eva wondered what they ought to do next. She still had equipment to clear and she could do after camping a little. Perhaps something that had brought them both here could be around so it might not be safe to stop here. Marianne looked like she was truly lost and needed someone to hug her and to keep her safe. Eva took a deep breath.
