Chapter 104 by mrshade mrshade

What's next?

Strange time in the town even for now.

Returning home after talking with Angie about the situation at your Uncles place, it turns out she has already been making plans to help Brittany, now she really has to go all out and for some reason seemed to be really excited about it. Guessing retirement was not her thing Angie was already dialling your mom when you left her place, not long later as you are in the kitchen Lily calls out for everyone to come see this and the only thing that goes through your mind is another siren has shown up as you look at the celling and say why.

Picking up your drink you enter the living room to find Lily looking out the front window at something outside, everyone is going over to look out the window and see what it is. At first you do not see anything out of the ordinary, until your mind registers the fact a woman is knocking on doors and putting leaflets through the mail box. Pointing to the sight Lily just waves her arms around in a what the fuck way, " I am not seeing things right Mrs De Mer is going house to house out there right, because why the fuck is she doing that".

Lily brings up a real good point and to be fair you have no fucking idea why Mrs De Mer is doing this, first it is stupid as the chances of her catching the virus from someone in a marked house, if someone was home is super high. Second is what possible reason could a fifty year old woman have for doing door to door in this current situation anyway. The strangest thing is she doe not miss a house going to everyone in the street knocking on the door then putting a leaflet in the letter box when no one answers.

Finally after watching this go on she arrives outside your house and comes up and knocks on the door, while Mrs De Mer has been going from house to house you have been thinking and talking with the others on what to do if she comes to your house and in the end curiosity gets the better of all of you as this is to weird not to find out what she is doing. Opening the front door Mrs De Mer is surprised but not as much as you are for it is clear to you she has had the virus and had the supermodel version or bimbo type as she looks dam fantastic for her age she honestly looks to be in her late thirties maybe early forties now.

While she is wearing a very conservative suit that has you leaning towards her having not had the full bimbo treatment. At 5ft 6in her hair is some strange mix of colours that looks sort of like a deep chestnut red that falls to her just below her shoulders in some fancy cut. Her figure is hard to tell by the suit but you can tell she has lost a lot of weight and by the shape of things it has gone to her breasts as even this suit cannot hide the fact her breasts are now larger firmer and more perky then what she had before at a guess you would think she is in the D cup range now. Most importantly is her skin looks great the signs of age been burnt away by the virus, not sure what to say both of you just look at each other before Mrs De Mer snaps out of it first.

Smiling to you after she shakes herself out of her shock Mrs De Mer holds up a leaflet and starts her speech or plug you would say. " Frankie it is so good to see you looking ok, you may know I am the head of my church's volunteer chapter here in town and I am going around trying to give the people in this town what ever help I can to help them get through these troubling times". Wanting to say she is stupid for trying as it could be bad for her you kind of guess it is a moot point as she has already had the virus and lived not to mention it has done her the wonder of good, but the whole church thing has never been your thing let alone your family. Your mother is ok with it but your dad is not into it, hell you still do not know how he went for a church wedding when he married your mother. " Um ok Mrs De Mer I can see your point but not like we can go to the church right now can we, what with everything going on I mean".

Nodding she thrusts the leaflet into your hands and you find it is actually just information on how to join an online group that the church has set up. " I completely understand your concern, it would be almost impossible and very irresponsible for us to all meet at the church in these trying times. That is why we have set up this online group and in reality we need to do it any way as pastor Rhodes was out of state visiting another branch of the church when the lockdown came into effect and cannot find a way to get back right now. Once they lift the roadblocks I will be travelling to the church she is currently at, as many of its members have either left or passed on including their pastor who passed away a few days after they announced what was going on".

Not having any desire to take her up on her offer you still be polite and humour Mrs De Mer as she points out all the good things about her church and chapter before she leaves and carries on down the street. Once you close the front door the others pop out of the kitchen and laugh hard, " she has to have come out of this with less brain cells then before why was she so much more out there then normal". Racheal is the first to point out that while Mrs De Mer has always been into this sort of thing she is way over the top now for some reason and you can only think it has something to do with the virus yet none of the women you have meet have been like how she is, unless this is her coping mechanism.
