Straight ahead

You can always return to the forest or mountain; you decide to go meet new people in the town.

You walk for almost the whole day, and you climb the final stretch into the hilltop town as the sun sets. "Hill Haven", a sign says.

As you enter Hill Haven, you see immediately that it's much bigger than your little farm town. And one other thing is different, too--the girls are hotter! Because Hill Haven is wealthier than your hometown, people can get more clothes, makeup, and other trinkets. Almost all of the women you see in the window of an inn are clothed in tight, smooth silk that accentuates their healthy forms. You're happy your armor comes with a codpiece, or your attraction would be fairly obvious.

People are everywhere, and you don't know what to do. What if you make a mistake, and look like a buffoon?

You consider your options, and realize you should probably stay at an inn, but you're broke. You could try and make some gold, steal it, or maybe just sleep outside.
