It was dark. Night had fallen, doing nothing to improve Eldra's ability to hobble. She walked a ways further, guessing she may have gone as far as four miles, before sitting down utterly defeated.
But hey! At least she brushed another berry bush as she sat down. Instead of eating, she added them to her inventory, getting a handful of berries.
Heat tugged at her. It was hot and humid, and without the winds stirring it seemed it had set in for awhile.
She laid down, letting her hurt and her exhaustion take her into sleep...
