Still sleeping. Heather joins him.

After lunch, Heather went into check on how Zach was feeling. As much as she didn’t want to disturb him, she couldn’t shake the exhaustion that had crept into her during the course of the day. Deciding on a quick nap, the brunette grabbed the clothes that served as her pajamas and headed into the bathroom to change.

“Got to be quiet girl, or else you’ll wake him,” she stated to her reflection. After she changed out of her bikini, she tiptoed back into the bedroom and crept towards the bed.

“God, he even looks cute when he’s sleeping,” she said with a smile, “I hope he’s feeling better.”

When she was finished admiring her roommate, she crawled onto the bed and sprawled out as best she could. The last thing Heather wanted to do was to wake Zack up before he was feeling well. If that happened, she’d feel terrible as he would have to endure his headache for a few more hours while he tried falling back asleep.

“One day he’ll know how you feel about him, girl,” the brunette said to herself as she laid down, “maybe one day, he’ll feel the same way about you.”

Heather wiped a tear from her eye as she turned away from Zack. She knew the boy had a huge crush on Victoria, but could not help falling for him. She chalked it up to wanting something she couldn’t have. The time that they had spent together as a pair before the trip was limited, but meaningful to her. She somehow couldn’t tell him the way she felt, which told her that her feelings were much more than just a simple teenaged crush. Heather had been in a few relationships over the years, but with guys that she couldn’t stand for longer than a month or two. She so wanted to find “The One” like Ashley had, and she knew that Zack was it.
