The meeting continued on for a short while after that as minor details and approaches were worked out. Eventually, everything that could be handled by assumptions was worked out. The rest would have to wait until the sector revealed its secrets.

"Thank you all for coming and your insight." Katla most definitely didn't look at Lavaliere. The woman had barely even paid any attention, her own console remaining untouched. If she was Asgardian... well she never would have been given a ship if she was Asgardian. Katla was the first to admit there were definitely sub-par Viking captains as well but the one thing that they could never be accused of was apathy. It was almost as if this woman didn't realize that she herself was going to be right in the line of fire. The twins clearly still saw it as a bit of a game, eager to test their wits and skill. Foxley was a bit more aggressive than could be considered sensible but she had a good head on her shoulders.

Lavaliere was a problem waiting to happen. The problem was to get rid of her would require Katla to convene a board of peers of equal or higher rank(both naval and noble) and get them to agree on removal. Katla had a feeling she could get Semiramis to help but that still left at least four more spots. For now, there was nothing she could do but hope that the woman proved her very wrong. Something she didn't anticipate happening any time soon.
