Step one, Intoxication

You end up catching the tail end of a conversation by the time you get back to the table.

"...that's very sweet of you, Lexie. Appreciate it!" Hawk finishes up with a smile as his hand reaches over the table and slightly brushes Lexie's, causing her to smile back at him.

"Hey guys!" you say a little louder to get their attention "Drinks for all! Rum for me, Rum for you, Rum for you...and some water with lime for you!" you set the mugs down while having a seat yourself "Bartender will be delivering a mug full of rum soon, so we have plenty to go around!"

"Not drinking, Lexie?" Hawk asks

She just smiles and nods her head up and down "Not tonight."

"I'm going to limit myself tonight..." Hawk begins "Since I'm leaving tomorrow morning."

"Oh shit..." you think to yourself. Your plan could still somewhat work if Hawk was sober but you knew it would be a whole lot easier if he was drunk. That and maybe he'll forget the night completely at the end...This wasn't going to happen, you needed to get Hawk drunk. At first you planned to just have a few drinks, mainly stay just a little buzzed but keep feeding Hawk more and more alcohol...but now, it looks like you'll have to drink with him to make sure he continues to drink. Hopefully you can still control yourself and keep your plan in the works. "Oh Hawk, come on, you're going to make Ashe and I drink alone the rest of the night?!" you nudge him in the side.

"Well...I am leaving early, would like to get some solid sleep tonight."

You lean over to Hawk's ear "Hawk, buddy ol' pal, I doubt you'll get much sleep when you take Ashe home tonight..." you look over at Ashe's face and give her a wink. "You'll be up all night anyway I bet."

"What did you? Hey! No secrets!" Ashe shouts "What did he say?!"

Hawk just grins and nods at you, "A gentlemen never tells, my love." Hawk retorts

The way his words rolled off his tongue in that stupid accent. "Ugh..." you groaned to yourself, you really disliked this guy.

"You do make a good point though, Darien."

"Plus, you never know if you'll be back to the Syndicate once you leave, may as well enjoy not only it's drinks...but one of it's most amazing women as well!"

"Hey!" Ashe replies "Moving a little fast, aren't you?"

"Who said I was talking about you?" you wink at the Sunrider, causing Lexie to laugh at her friend.

"Ass!" she almost snarls back at you "Screw you, Darien" she shakes her head and then takes a giant swig of her rum.

Hawk turns his head, looking at you before giving a satisfying grin "Fine! To the Syndicate. To it's amazing Rum. And to it's gorgeous women!" he says as he puts up his chalice of rum, clinking it with yours, taking drinks.

Hours went by as the four of you continued to sit around your table, drinking many chalices full of Rum, as well as ordering some meats and breads to tide you over. You were making sure Hawk was drinking plenty of booze, as you kept forcing him to match you, every drink you had, you made sure he had one as well. Ashe actually helped out quite a bit as well, even though she wasn't aware of your plan but whenever she would drink, you'd whisper some things into Hawk's ear, telling him to not get out drank by a Sunrider. This would cause him to drink even more alcohol and you would help him with that, constantly making sure his chalice stayed topped off through out the night. You hate to say it, but the drunker you and Hawk became, the more you started to tolerate his presence.

"Hawk Hawk Hawk!" you say loudly as you throw your arm around his shoulder, pulling him in close to you "I hope you're having a great night!"

"Darien, I...I am!" he slurs out "I can't...I can't believe I was...I was not going to drink. Great booze and great company!" he holds his chalice up in the air again.

Ashe and Lexie are sitting much closer to each other on the opposite side, basically shoulder to shoulder just having a conversation between themselves. You can't hear anything between them from all the random chatter in the background.

"OOhhh Ashhhhe! Lexxxxxxiiieeeeee!" you groan out. You could tell there was a glaze in Ashe's eyes when she finally made eye contact with you once more. She was definitely drinking a good chunk of alcohol but you actually lost track of how much because you were so worked up in making sure Hawk was staying drunk. You squint your eyes a few times, looking across the table at the two beauties. "You two are perrrrfect!" you finally say, the biggest smile forming on your face.

"And you're drunk." Lexie laughs.

"Aww, I thought it was sweet." Ashe becoming much more friendly.

"I'll take it. Last time Darien was this drunk he made quite the ass of himself. It's probably the most pissed off I've ever been at him!"

"What?! Darien?? This guy?" Hawk nudges you with his elbow "Darien is such a stand up gentlemen! No way!"

"What the fuck? Hawk was standing up for you...huh?" you think to yourself as you stare back at him with a shocked expression.

Lexie takes a drink from her refreshing lemon water before smiling back and shaking her head "But, let bygones be bygones! He made up for it afterwards. Who would have thunk a man like Darien could have such a soft side." she smiles back at you.

"Hey hey hey now! What can I say? I'm full of surprises!"

"Hell yeah he is! Darien, this drink is to you!" Hawk says

"Fuck yeah it is! Cheers!" you and Hawk both finish your chalices of rum all the while Lexie and Ashe just continue to be happy in your presence.

For the past few hours...at least you think it's been a few hours, you honestly don't know, you actually forgot about your plan. You were having an enjoyable night with Ashe, Lexie and Hawk and felt like the night could just continue on that way. That is until under the table you felt a bare foot snaking up the side of your calf, making it's way slowly up to the point of your knee. As your eyes look between the two Sunrider's opposite you, Lexie just gives you a look, slightly biting her lower lip in the process. "Oh shit..." you think to yourself "The Plan! Fuck yes, Lexie with the save!" you continue your thoughts in your head, even though Lexie didn't know what your plan was, her being sensual towards you jump started your brain once more, trying it's best to process through the alcohol infused thoughts.

"Step one, Intoxication. Complete." you grin to yourself. "Time for step two!"
