Stella tells truths mixed with lies (Exposition Time)

"I have not lied to you, nor have I harmed you," Stella tells her, as if reading her thoughts, her words soft and comforting. "My motives are pure, but my actions were not always guided by my heart, for I had ****."

Korr looks at her skeptically, and her suspicion and disbelief are evident in her eyes.

"The reason I transformed you into a woman, is because I wanted to save your life, and more than that, I wanted to bring peace between orcs and men. I thought that a peaceful society would be a benefit to both races."

"Wait a minute, slow down! How did transforming me to be a woman saved my life?" She asked Stella, her head subconsciously tilting towards one side, as if asking for further explanation.

Now, is one of the important part, Stella thinks to herself, I have to tell her a lie that will make her believe I am a good person. And I think I know the perfect lie to told her. After all, the best lies are the ones which are mostly true, aren't they? And so, Stella starts talking.

"Yes, my dear, the reason I turned you into a woman is that I wish to protect you from a threat, and that threat is your father, Orcchief Vagan" Stella said solemnly, staring into Korr's eyes.

"My father? No, you are lying! My father loves me, he won't try to kill me, he wouldn't dare to hurt me or do anything to harm me!" Korr cried out desperately, trying hard to convince herself.

Stella knows what kind of childhood Korr had. Korr was not loved by his father, who beat Korr senseless many times to harden him. Fortunately for Korr, her mother was a very amazing woman. She nurtured him, with exceptional care.

Orcchief Vagan is an expansionist, he wants his kingdom to cover as large as area it can. In his war campaign, he has heavily relied on his son, Korr. But as Korr started to earn war merits, Stella has heard rumors of Orcchief Vagan being afraid of his son trying to overthrow him to take the throne.

There have been several **** attempts at Korr, Stella doesn't know if the orc's own father was behind those attempts, but that doesn't stop her from skewing the truth to be in her own favour.

"He is afraid, afraid because he knows how powerful you are, Korr," Stella explains. "He fears your power. He believes you might use your power to fight him, that if he allows you to be stronger, you might one day take over from him. His greatest concern is that someone like you could become a threat. As a consequence, your father tried to kill you several times, but every time you survived, he regretted not taking more drastic actions because of your great power. Your father was worried that if you were stronger than him, he may not survive."

Stella takes the opportunity to caress and stroke Korr's cheek lovingly. She then gives her one final reassuring smile, before continuing with her lies.

Korr stares at Stella, her eyes wide and filled with astonishment. She knew that her father was capable of committing atrocities and ****, but she never imagined him to have gone this far. She wonders why, when she saw how her father treated her as a child, and how he punished her for trying to resist his demands, she felt such anger and pain. Perhaps her father truly was a monster, who cared only for himself and what he wanted. Korr wonders if he was right, if maybe she deserved whatever happened to her.

As soon as the first tear falls out of her eye she wipes it away immediately, determined not to let Stella see her crying. But Stella saw it and immediately understood why. Stella leans in closer, placing her arm around Korr, drawing her closer into her embrace and stroking her soft red hair. Korr rests her head against Stella's chest while Stella continues her tale.

"Your father wanted to kill you, to protect his throne. But I saw how you are a good ruler, and I saw the potential in you. Even if you were an orc, you still treated humans fairly in your lands, unlike your father. So, you see, I have transformed you to a human woman, because now the world will believe that you have died and your father will rest easily. Nobody won't even think that you are now a human woman and you can take your ****! And it will be better for everyone, including your father, if he believes you dead!"

Korr listens carefully to the story. Although her heart is bleeding, she tries hard not to show it. But the fact remains that she feels betrayed and angry, but at the same time grateful that her enemy has given her this chance.

She sighs softly. Korr doesn't know if she should believe Stella or not. Her thoughts are conflicted and she cannot come to an appropriate decision.
