Stealth mission GO!

(So! Got a couple chapters to share today! Please enjoy and leave some comments to help me out.)

I made sure to be extra careful when I mead my way back towards the building Lex and the others were in, just after I saw Batman sneak into the building that is. Sneaking my way towards the building I saw Batman crash into the table, the Joker laughing like the psychopath he is as he emptied rocks out of a large bag. "Did... Did he REALLY fucking fall for that?" I whispered to myself, unable to believe that I'd just seen the BATMAN, get knocked the fuck OUT by a bag with a comical amount of rocks inside it...

Leaving my elementals in the building, I saw them putting Batman into a stasis field. Watching as the titanium bound Batman practically turned Grundy and Humanite against each other almost the MOMENT the rest of their group left the room. My elemenetals watched as things continued on, Cheetah not even speaking to Batman despite his attempts to talk to her, but when I saw Luthor get Batman's belt opened up? I sent messages to the other League members, warning them that the watchtower was going to have enemies incoming SOON. I got hold of Lantern and Superman, informing them of the threat heading to the tower. I was able to suggest to them to set up an ambush, but they didn't listen, Lantern deciding to attack the moment the team Luthor sent arrived.

Shade, Star Shapphire and Grundy getting beaten back and captured when they arrived. The bomb being found and disposed of. Needless to say, Lex was quite pissed about what had happened. While that happened, I informed Wonder Woman, Flash and Hawkgirl about where Batman was being held, meeting up with them at the roof of a building just across the street from the his location. "I know you prefer the direct approach, but are you SURE you don't want me to move in and help?" I asked, looking mostly at Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl. "You've helped plenty. Besides, with most of their people already captured we and handle the rest." Hawkgirl assured me, sounding eager to smash her mace into Luthor's team. "Alright. But I'll stay nearby just in case." I explained to them, my elementals already moving all throughout the building to watch each of the remaining members of Luthor's group. Currently Humanite was doing some mad scientist stuff as he put some sort of chest armor around Luthor's torso, explaining that it would keep Lex's condition stable for the time being.

About that time, Hawkgirl busted her way in, gaining Luthor's attention as well as the others. My elementals used that chance to come out of hiding around Batman, climbing up onto his restraints and freeing him from them. Must have been interesting for him to see a bunch of rats made out of dirt and stone chewing through titanium bindings like that. Before he could leave, I sent a shadow elemental to keep watch over him, it grabbed onto his left shoulder, looking like a ferret made of shadow as it held onto him, slowly spreading it's power over him to make him completely invisible. I'd get questions about it later, but when Joker came back down a moment later, looked straight at Batman and then began to spin around like he was searching for ANY direction Batman could come at him from? I could see the smile on Batman's face when he realized what my elemental had done when it attached itself to him. A smile I mirrored when I got to watch Batman knock Joker's lights out. I'd have to answer questions about this later, but that wasn't so bad.

After that? It didn't take long to catch Humanite, Luthor or Cheetah. In fact Cheetah was mostly hiding after she saw Luthor trying to use his new... WAS THAT FUCKING POWER ARMOR?!
...You know what? No. I'm not even surprised anymore. Luthor had tried using the energy he had to blast Wonder Woman, but my elementals intervened. A shadow elemental blinding him completely, long enough for Flash and Hawkgirl to see Humanite shock Luthor **** and give himself up. Cheetah surrendered as well as she came out of hiding, knowing she couldn't fight off the three heroes on her own.

So with Luthor and his group captured, we were all finally able to relax just a little bit. Though I did send a cat made of shadow to follow and keep watch over Cheetah just in case. Something told me that we were going to get another mission sooner than expected though... And fuck if my fears weren't proven right.
