Faust hunting

Barely even a day later and there was something strange going on with Wonder Woman. She'd left to return home, but contacted Batman sometime later. As for how I'd found out? I never removed my elemental from Batman's personal space, simply turned it invisible and had it follow him back to his cave. Some hours after Batman began looking into Faust, Superman sent messages to each of the other members of the League. I decided that I didn't mind them finding out anymore about some of my abilities, so I used my teleport ability to create a portal that I arrived through to meet up with them quicker. I had almost beat Flash there, though J'onn did arrive shortly afterwards. "How did you arrive here so quickly? Usually you ride on a hawk elemental right?" Superman asked me with some surprise. I explained "I'm still learning about my abilities, my powers seem to be expanding further in what they can do. Creating a teleportation portal to go through isn't so difficult anymore." I said before turning to Diana. "What's happened?"

Over the next bit of time Wonder Woman explained what had happened, how Faust had turned her people the Amazon's into stone, how he was holding them hostage to find the fragments of some artifact, one she now had the first piece of. It took no time for the rest of us to agree to help her with finding the other relics.

I ended up going with Flash and Martian Manhunter, listening to Flash's VERY hopeful daydreams about being surrounded by amazon women. "Flash, I like to day dream as much as the next person, but your forgetting something. They've ALL been training to fight in combat basically since they were born. Men aren't viewed WELL in their societies eyes either, so your more likely to have to run away at top speed than you are for anything fun to happen." I explained, Flash calling me a buzzkill in response before Manhunter suggested he focus on finding the next relic. Flash came back a moment later and removed the relic, only for us to hear and feel the ground start rumbling. "Of COURSE there's a guardian... CAUSE WHY NOT?!" I groaned out, right before a giant fire breathing snake came out of the ground. J'onns took down the snake pretty quickly, I decided not too take any chances and grabbed the relic. "I'll teleport to the others, the sooner we're done with this Faust character, the better."

With that I created a portal and stepped through, arriving at a mall where... what the fuck? Why are Superman and Wonder Woman beating the hell out of each other?!

Questions for later! I sent a Greater earth elemental to stop them both. A pair of gorilla's, each one grabbing and trying to separate the two heroes fighting. "Stop!" I shouted. Both of them trying to convince me to help them, saying that the other was some sort of monster or demon. "ENOUGH!" I shouted at them, my elementals trying to hold them back. My shout apparently got their attention thankfully. So I started by asking WHAT had happened when they arrived, from there I learned thanks to their information that they were seeing the other as some sort of monster. I tried explaining they were seeing things, but they weren't snapping out of it. Superman noticed something though, he was able to see his reflection in the water. So I had the elementals bring them both over to the pool where they finally snapped out of it before anymore damage could be done.

We got a call from Batman calling everyone together, where he explained just how vile a person Faust really was. How Faust had been learning magical arts, how he had made some of the people responsible for him being kicked out of places he'd been part of disappear, and finally we discovered there that he was trying to open the gate of Tartarus and unleash hell on earth... "Okay seriously, just ONCE could we deal with something that ISN'T an end of the world scenario?" I groaned out as we all made our way to the Javelin ship, Wonder Woman deciding to bring us onto Themyscira to help deal with Faust...

The moment we arrived looked far worse than I'd expected, so many amazons imprisoned in stone, numerous buildings either on fire of having been crushed. I decided to try and see if there was anything I could do for them. I stayed on the Javelin for the time being, the others heading off to try and capture Faust. While they were gone I pushed my elemental summoning further than even before, summing my first Legendary tier Earth Elemental. To my surprise it seemed to take on the shape of a... female Minotaur? If the rather large chest area was any indication at least. This elemental was much more detailed now, it wasn't simply made of stone and dirt, it's appearance took on a more living look, beautiful hair, even a cute looking human face! Sure she had bull horns and strong looking muscles, but it all looked surprisingly nice and gentle, only further enhanced by her bronze looking flesh.

I was surprised to see this new elemental smile at me when I asked it to help the Amazons. It slowly walked towards the nearest ones, gently touching their heads as it... wait... it was UNDOING THE PETRIFICATION! The amazons were slowly being freed by my earth elemental, but the first amazon attempted to stop her before realizing my elemental was freeing them from their stone prison's. I was surprised to see my elemental not stopping there though, it managed to help PULL the stone back together, reforming the few amazon's that had been shattered or broken before freeing them from the petrification spell as well.

I brought up a screen, looking at my Elemental Summoning power, watching as the exp for FREEING the amazons was staggeringly higher than expected! In a short time I found myself looking at a large notification.

Congratulations! You've reached Elemental Summoning level 10! This is the abilities max level!
You can now summon in larger quantities. Your max limit of summons per element has increased. And you can now choose to EVOLVE your power!
Please choose one of the options below...
1: Elemental Warband -This ability allows you to SWITCH your summon limit from one element to another, allowing you to lower and raise the limit of elementals for sepcific elements at will. This includes allowing you to put ALL your limits into a single element.
2: Elemental Hybrid -This ability allows you to ABSORB your elementals, within your current limits allowing you to wield each element with tremendous power. Reccomend LOTS of practice BEFORE practical use.
3: Elemental Lord -This ability allows you to summon one elemental of each element, PERMANENTLY without affecting your max limit numbers.

Holy shit... that's a hell of a set of choices... Alright. While Warband is interesting, since it seems like it would allow me to summon a total of up to 600 elementals of a single element, that seems like some sort of invasion **** I'd always have on hand and I'm NOT looking to conquer countries or anything like that.
The Hybrid one sounds good, but I'd constantly be worried about absorbing too many elementals too quickly, having too much power and not enough practice to control it all. The best option for me seemed to be Elemental Lord so that's what I selected. I watched as several notifications popped up all at once, my head suffering a huge wave of pain going through it as my Elemental Summoning went through it's evolution.

My earth elemental continued to work at freeing and healing the Amazons, I was going to start reading the notifications but... There was a sudden rumbling that began to shake the whole island! I teleported towards the rest of the team, finding myself inside an underground city it looked like. A pair of massive doors opening before a guy in armor walked out, I rushed to try and make it to the others, seeing them start to engage with who I heard one them call Hades... So we're fighting gods now huh? Well, sounds like I should probably do my best to help then. I summoned as many Greater Elementals as I could, Earth, Wind, Water and Light, before sending them to attack. Just in time for Hades to raise the dead warriors from ages past, trying to overwhelm my friends. My elementals smashing through the undead soldiers quite well. Everything from Mongoose, Python, and Honeybadger's to Bears, Tiger's and Eagle's tearing through the enemy forces, fighting to try and reach Hades himself. Meanwhile the so called god was breathing out powerful blasts of fire, launching them at the others and tearing apart the terrain. I saw Diana head for the key, seeing Hades give chase to stop her... I'm not strong enough to fight against a god, but I should be able to help buy her some time right? I managed to slow him by sending 3 greater bear elementals at him, they managed to smash into his sides and back before trying to pin him down.

A moment later and I saw Diana break the key off, Hades leaping at her only to be hit with the remainder of the key. The door suddenly starting to suck anything and everything it could through it. I saw Hades reach out and grab Diana's leg, holding on tight as she tried to keep her mother from falling into Tartarus or herself from being pulled in. I managed to charge up one of my wind elementals, it sparked as the energy gathered before it launched itself at Hades, hitting him like a bolt of lightning and causing him to fall back into Tartarus.

With everyone safe and once the doors were shut once again, we were able to head back up to the surface where we got rewarded by the Queen...
Just before she had to exile her daughter for the crime of bringing us here to help. I... I have no words.

Anyways we hop back onto the Javelin to leave, Flash flying the ship while Batman moved to ask me about what was happening with my powers. I made it clear I wasn't entirely sure, that my powers seemed to be expanding but also changing, that I wasn't sure just what all I could...

I stopped there, my jaw hanging open at a sight I wasn't expecting. There in the corner, near where I'd been sitting earlier when my summoning ability had evolved, was a collection of 6 brightly colored eggs. Each as big as a bowling ball, but it was what my system told me I was looking at that caught my attention most. Apparently these eggs were my new, permanent summons. They were starting at a level just below the basic rank but with time and training could be raised all the way up to the highest rank available. Gently I lifted up one of the very large eggs, drawing the attention of the others, even flash came over to see once he put the ship on auto pilot.

"What are they?" Superman asked. "Their elemental eggs, I guess? But I've never seen anything like this before..." I responded. Batman chiming in, asking me if they were connected to my powers. I nodded my head until Flash pointed at the bottom of the egg I was holding, looking like a mix between bronze and green. I lifted the egg to see a hole in the bottom, my eyes widening as I looked around for wherever the small creature might have gone, the others suddenly becoming VERY careful with where they step. I found the little elementals pretty quickly, hiding in a corner, just under a bench, wrapped up in the shadows of a very small lizard looking elemental. With the shadows falling away, we all saw the sight of the elementals snuggled together, looking like a collection of baby animals just cuddled up for sleep.

CONGRATULATIONS! Your elementals have hatched! Your Elemental Lord ability has given birth to these permanent elemental spirits!
Take good care of them and they'll take good care of you!

I couldn't help but look at the adorable sight, they were all larger than normal baby animals, but that did nothing to detract from how adorable the sight of them all snuggled together like a family was. A Shadow lizard, Fire snake, Water ferret, Light kitten, Earth bunny, and a Wind otter. The cuteness levels were already dangerous enough as it was, but I couldn't help but chuckle anyways at the thought of how Jinx and Jade would react when I brought these adorable elemental spirits home with me...
