Stay with the Couple

"Well...., Jerry doesn't want stuff like this getting out..., but considering you know OF us anyway..." Alex started, her tone rising and lowering as she flipped flopped on how much to describe, "Along with everything that's already happened..., I guess I COULD tell you."

"So... I asked but how much of the show do you know? Like besides all the weird... stuff."

Kendra explained what she could recall of the show. That the show was about three spies from some super world spanning agency, that went out and thwarted evil plans from CEOs, mad doctors, and more. Besides that it was lessons or problems that teenagers should learn, like standing up for friends or trusting someone beyond just skin level. Just confidence, good manners, standing up for yourself, and that you can do anything if you have support behind you; those sorts of things.

And that usually one or more of them would be trapped or changed with some sort of device or invention; usually to an almost fetishistic manner. Like getting fat, hypnotized, other things. Alex groaned as Kendra listed off the number of things the show had covered.

"Yeah.... that... a lot of that happened in some form or another. Though it sounds like some of it was... exaggerated for comedic effect... or something else.., oh boy." Alex chuckled, wondering if any teen boy... or maybe girl at this point, woke up to anything from this show.

"That makes sense but... if even 20% of that happened; that's pretty fantastical. All those inventions in WHOOP's hands..., did they do anything with them... or did they have a lasting effect on you and the others?" Kendra asked. Last thing she wanted was to be mid date and have Alex suddenly mutate or something.

"For the most part no, but Sam's probably the one to ask for the more technical stuff. I just know that too many those things are either too complex or too powerful to be released out of the general public." Alex quickly explained before adding, "I mean could you picture some sort of muscle drink that gave you the strength to punch through concrete only for it to be at your local coffee shop?"

"....Gods I could see one of those bossy self important women putting a cashier through a window now." Kendra replied with a chuckle.

The two shared a laugh over that. The mental picture was absurd but that was also just the first thought that came into her head. Any other bitter person could **** that let alone any of the other pieces of tech Kendra had seen on the show. It made sense to keep most of that under lock and key.

"So yeah.. WHOOP kept most that stuff under lock and key. They only brought it out for clinical trials, emergencies, or personal use." Alex said as she took a turn after Sam's car. She was amazed at how smooth the trip was thus far, even with as much traffic as there was in the city. The car must have been pretty well tuned and designed.

"Personal use?" Kendra ask, turning her head at a slight angle.

"Yeah...., I mean not personal use for me and the girls. See, WHOOP tries to recruit the best of the best, or at least those they believe CAN be the best of the best. But they also understand it's kinda...., a race between them and the bad guys? New tech, new ideas, new goals...; so at times WHOOP would try to incorporate those into their own stuff. Either training, gadgets or ... enhancements?" Alex said, her shoulders scrunched up and a weak smile on her face.

"Did they **** you?!?!" Kendra blurted out, worried about how dark the actual setting the girls were from was.

"...In a way? Okay.. gah... Sam could say this better." Alex let out with a sigh, "Beyond the normal shots we had to get for different diseases and parasites, nothing that a normal spy or special forces probably would get; we ended up getting... enhanced over the years." She gave a slight shrug but kept the small smile on her face, "You can't get changed or altered that much without having some lingering bits."

"So rather than trying to pull EVERYTHING out of us, they kept some of that in. So long as it wouldn't pose a problem. Like extra muscle definition, rerouted mental commands, that sort of of thing." Alex stracthed the back of her neck with a hand as they waited for a red light to turn colors.

"Again Sam can probably give you a better explanation but we're a bit faster and stronger than normal humans, even trained ones. Maybe like... 1.5 times or something? Oh do you know that one super hero in your world...., red hair, black suit that kinda looks like us, hangs around with a metal guy and someone with a shield?"

"....Black Widow?" Kendra asked. She'd drawn the character before and knew a bit about her. Some sort of super spy like the girls, but far less comedic.

"Yeah! I'd say we're about on pair with her. I think she had some sort of serum boost or something but we're not like..., roided up super soldiers." Alex said as she hit the gas to start moving again.

"Hmm, I wonder how strong I am then..." Kenda wondered as she looked down at her stomach.

She felt her stomach though her clothes a bit before gliding her hand over the other arm. She was definitely more toned than before... but given how that bar was on the floor to begin with; it was hard to tell how strong she actually was. Kendra never really lifted more than a backpack full of art supplies, and never really thought about how much weight was inside it. Maybe she'd have Alex set her up with a measurement exercise session.

When she brought it up, Alex agreed with a quick nod. "Yeah that sounds good..., I didn't really notice how much you were lifting yesterday cause... um... other things on my mind."

Understandable. It was a LOT to take in yesterday. Then again..., maybe Kendra could have some fun with that.
