Chapter 20

Who should Leanne go with?
Stay with Dr Seward
There was something about Abbie edginess that made Leanne wary. Sure, she didn’t trust the doctor anymore, but at least she knew she couldn’t trust him whereas with Abbie it was just a feeling of unease.
“Um, I think… I think that doctor wanted to show me something,” answered Leanne cautiously.
“But Leanne you can’t… I mean I really need to tell you something important.” Abbie was practically begging for Leanne to go with her. She began panicking as she imagined the possible reasons for her sudden urgency and what she couldn’t say in front of the strange medic. However, if she changed her mind now the doctor might be suspicious. If he really was dangerous or something then it might make things even worse, for herself and Abbie.
“That’s okay,” she replied, her voice breaking just as little as her nerves showed through her masked displace of confidence. “We can just talk later.”
Abbie wanted to stay but could see that her pleas were having no impact at changing Leanne’s mind. Reluctantly she fled the doctor’s office, leaving Leanne alone with the medic once more.
“We should go now,” he told her. “We might not have much time.” Dr Seward moved quickly towards the door and Leanne followed close behind. She’d made her choice now and only time would tell if it was the right one. She really hoped it would be later rather than sooner before she found out.
The medic led Leanne down the corridor. It was quiet and abandoned at this time with no sign of either staff or residents, giving the whole place an even eerier feel to it than normal. As they headed down the hallway Dr Seward began picking up his pace, Leanne was rushing behind him as her long dress flowed in her wake. She was struggling to keep up in her high heels such was the doctor’s urgency as she almost fell a few times. As he rounded the corner the medic was a few steps ahead of Leanne. Before she could turn after him there was a sharp shriek, causing her to stop dead in her tracks. Cautiously she peered around the corner to see Dr Seward standing staring at a large shadowy figure.
“Renfield, you useless worm!” hissed the stranger. “Where is she?”
“Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Master!” stammered the doctor.
The tall figure reached out to grab him but then suddenly his eyes noticed Leanne standing nervously by the corner and his lips curled into a twisted smirk. “Ah, finally!” he grinned. “You’ve brought her to me as you promised.”
“Err… Of-Of course, M-M-Master,” The man Leanne knew as Dr Seward cowered against the wall, leaving nothing between her and the mysterious stranger. He stepped towards her and Leanne began to panic. He was much taller than her, his body hidden in shadow with a large dark cape wrapped around him. His hair was long and jet black and from what she could see of his face he had sharp angular features and pale skin. He seemed young and yet his eyes held so much knowledge within their intense gaze that he could have been centuries old. His lips were thin but as he came towards her she saw them part and sharp white teeth revealed.
Leanne turned to the doctor again. He stared wide-eyed at her, too afraid to move himself. His mouth moved but no words were heard. This was who he had warned her of, the man he was trying to hide from. She had to escape, but what if she ran and he caught her? Would it even be worth attempting to flee?
Should Leanne run or not?

Leanne is in her early twenties with light brown hair down to just below her shoulders. She's around 5'5" and has a very nice trim figure with pretty big boobs for her frame. Leanne always did enjoy spending time with old people (see what happened in her other stories when she went for a swim and caught up with some old friends), and with Christmas just a couple of months way she wanted to increase her karma. So she decided to pay a local visit to the old folks home. Who knows, maybe she'd make some new friends while she was there too!
