Chapter 9
by Sebyo04
Delicious thighs overhead, what's the next move?
Stay still. Stay silent.
A smile pulled itself onto my face as I contemplated what was happening and concentrated on not getting seen. Trying to keep my entire body from not accidentally disturbing the dress, I point my snout up further and weaken my grip. My tail tucked, legs straining slightly from the crouch, breathing as slowly as possible, I doubt that anyone would notice that the dragonkin was hiding a kobold like me. At least, as long as we stayed still.
The tailor smoothed out her clothes to finish settling them just as the door bell tinkled, a strong aroma of lavender wafting in and penetrating the folds of my veil. I can’t imagine how it might’ve smelt to my grey scaled friend above, though from the muffled hisses of a metal spritzer, they must’ve been applying it still. The door was closed once around 2 people had walked in, presumably a member of nobility and their servant, the little doorbell tinkling again.
The tailor clearly recognized the nobility, somehow managing speech through what I can only imagine as a cloud of purple mist, “Welcome Lady Azure, what a lovely thing to be in your presence once again, what request would you have this time?”
The tailor stiffened while she awaited a reply, it was obvious that she wanted this to be over with soon and that this ‘Lady’ was unpleasant at best. Living up to that line of thinking, Lady Azure ignored the tailor, instead complaining, “my, those people need to stop acting so poor. This is the capital, not a desert town. I’ve been to a desert you know, horrible places, and the people are detestable!” She would have no doubt continued on, however her servant tactfully chose that moment to intervene, likely saving hours for all of us. I wouldn’t mind being here for awhile, but there’s only so long my legs could last crouching like this, not to mention that noble blithering wasn’t something I enjoyed.
“Oh yes, Miss Aster…” she said, a hint of distaste lingering while she continued, “…as you know, normally a tailor would come to me, however today we’ve been **** to come to you, a great inconvenience, you surely understand, you best have my order ready, well?” She sounded almost upset, though even I could tell it was for show.
Miss Aster took a breath before answering, slow and careful to not **** on the lavender, “While I do very much so appreciate your visit, I believe you’ll find that the price you paid was for an order ready in three days time, as this is the shortest date I can offer for even my highest value customers.” Likely insulted, Miss Aster had apparently decided that This ‘Lady Azure’ was being too rude. Naturally, the stuck up idiot gasped, sputtering a bit before being cut off by another set of insults.
“Furthermore, you were notified of your collection date with a note written by my own hand that I had passed on to your servant here. I watched you read it and throw it away, and yet you still have the gall to approach my door with a dress made from that dreadful fabric and trimmed so unsteadily that I can see the loose threads from here. All in this room can see that you have disgraced the name Azure and are barely able to defend yourself, speak further if you believe you could dare to play a war of wits or begone from my floor. No doubt, a pitiful excuse for nobility is what your husband will hear about later.” She finished.
Having dragged her ego across the floor, the bitter tones of a stuck up toy of a woman crossed the room before the doorbell tinkled and the clattering of heels drowned in the bustle of the street. That certainly was one way to shorten the conversation.
The dragonkin relaxed slightly, squeezing my head a little with her thighs, and continued speaking, this time to the servant who apparently hadn’t left yet. “Please do tell your Lady that the order will be delivered over morrow, with a dress to replace what she decided was wearable today. Do you have a recommendation on the styles she’d prefer?”
The servant was much nicer than her lady, seemingly not caring that her master had just been put down like a drunkard. “Of course Miss Aster, I do believe that something with some frills and a low neck would suit, the usual bodice of course too, though maybe this time you could design a skirt similar to what you’re wearing? She would likely show it off at next week’s ball knowing your abilities.” She said, the tone conveying a boredom with work.
The tailor hummed in agreement, “oh please, you flatter me too much. Is there anything that you would request then dear?” she asked, her tone more friendly as she suggested, “something to show off in the night this time?” It seemed the servant might’ve been a customer too.
A smile now audible in her voice, the servant responded, “oh yes please, I wasn’t aware that you had a spot available. Something more decorative would be a good addition, and I’m sure my partner would appreciate it, thank you Ari. Unfortunately I must be going now. I’ll see you over morrow, have a pleasant day.” Footsteps followed and the bell tinkled, Miss Aster managing to say goodbye just in time for the door to close.
Now that it was over properly, the dragonkin sighed, slouching slightly, her knees folding in. She even groaned at the encounter. It was probably the last thing she wanted to deal with today, and having me show up just beforehand must’ve had her extra stressed. Massaging her thighs slightly, I wondered if I should actually come out, the temptation to relieve some of her stress approaching my thoughts.
The thought of what that’d bring was putting a blush to my cheeks. A blush that was quickly smothered by those delectable thighs pressing in even further, dropping a certain dragon kin’s crotch just slightly lower.
Exactly where my snout was sitting.
The scent of lavender was quickly forgotten for something else, a draconic wetness just begging for me the second I wasn’t locked in place.
Do they stay there longer?
